They don’t answer the phone when called. Don’t use this app unless you want your money stolen. ### 1/5 — Beware!!!! NO SUPPORT AT ALL. MISSING MONEY FOR TWO WEEKS!!! *2021-06-03, version 3.2.6* I recently sent some BTC to my spend wallet and after two weeks it still has not shown up. It’s confirmed on the blockchain it was sent to my SPEND wallet and nothing. I have contacted their “help” department numerous times over the past two weeks and have received NO RESPONSE AT ALL! I live chat every single day multiple times a day and all they tell me is “sorry you need to wait” they do not offer any phone support. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR CRYPTO!! ### 1/5 — No *2021-05-18, version 3.2.6* I sign up with this app recommended to me by a friend and do all they requested for all the verification process and I got a message it will be reviewed and verify within 3business days but right now it’s over a month and my verification page still keep saying pending. I don’t think it will be verify till eternity thou ### 1/5 — Kinda shady *2021-04-06, version 3.2.6* Opened the account with high hopes but never received a debit card to use with my account so that made it basically worthless to me. The app also kept crashing every time I would check on my card status... and then when I tried speaking to support they just referred me to email them to close the account. No follow up with customer service (Ravi) even after I sent them Tx Hash confirmation. This is not a good sign if you have to wait for your own money/crypto a week or worse never get to at all and do double check I sent Link to my Spend wallet and it never received either ### 1/5 — Customer service doesn’t answer questions!!! *2019-11-22, version 2.4.992* I sent all the information a month ago to start buying cryptocurrency and nobody answer, after 2 weeks I Decided to write to customer service but was the same and Idid it again last week and was the same thing. What I think is this kind of app or company is not legal. ### 1/5 — Cannot believe Apple allows this app in the App Store! *2019-10-25, version 2.4.989* ⚠️⚠️Caution to anyone trying to use! ⚠️⚠️This company is not even a licensed financial institution in the United States. They stole over $52 from me for their virtual card. Not only that they promised me their virtual card would work with Apple Pay as there is not many other places you can use a virtual card. (Which you have to pay $25 for. 🙄) I added it to Apple Pay but every time I attempted to use it with Apple Pay it would immediately decline and when I called customer service they said, “Oh yeah, our technician said he was having problems with Apple Pay a while ago.” Provided me no solutions and when I asked them for my $25 back that I paid in order to obtain this non working virtual card, they refused. Since I wasn’t able to use the card at all, I then tried to withdraw to my bank account. After waiting for 7 days I contacted customer service again and asked where my transfer was. They then claimed that their banking transactions were “offline” whatever that means and essentially my ACH transfer was never initiated although the funds were out of my Spend account! They are a HUGE scam, and I would stay far away from them. ### 1/5 — Scammed. *2019-08-12, version 2.4.980* First of all, if you want a Spend card, its not cheap. In addition to KYC verification, you are forced to purchase their own “Spendcoin” currency and pay an additional membership fee ($25-$50) just to receive the prepaid card in the mail. This can run a few hundred dollars depending on what card you want. I was fine with this because I really liked the concept of the app. I wanted higher limits on my card so I requested an upgrade to a virtual card, which cost me about $150. They sent me a physical card instead. Fine. However, the card won’t activate. So no upgrade, no virtual card or physical card and $150 down the drain. Its been almost 2 weeks and this still hasn’t been resolved. Support has been mostly non responsive. I tried their live chat. I asked for their support phone number, but l was told there isn’t one. I was also told that my case will be forwarded on to someone else and I’ll hear back via email in 24-48 hrs. I contacted support several times now, same generic response from live chat and no one has ever gotten back to me via email or otherwise. All I want is what I paid for. Otherwise I would like my money refunded. It feels like a scam and I wonder if this is happening to other people as well. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2019-04-25, version 2.4.91* For $25 you get a card with a $500 daily limit and a $150 daily atm limit. For another $50 and with a requirement to hold 25,000 spendcoin, you can have one with a $5,000 daily limit with a $1,000 atm. It took a month to get my card since they sent it to someone else and no one told me. I had to continually call their support and the best response I could get was, “We’ll check with the team.” ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2019-03-31, version 2.4.5* This app is a waste of time. Downloaded it and got verified to Tier 2. Never able to purchase anything since my banking info just sat “Pending\Verifying” for 3 weeks. So, I reached out to support to find out why my bank showed pending\verifying and they said they don’t currently have any partnerships with banks so they can’t add bank accounts or credit cards yet. Very deceptive business practices. There is no point asking for a users banking details if they can’t even use their bank account. Just deleted the app since it’s useless if you can’t actually make any purchases. Not sure the point in releasing the app if it does not function. I would recommend sticking to the Coinbase app or Uphold app that both actually work. **Developer response:** Hi Joe, We are sorry that you are having problems with your banking services. Some regions are still available while others are not as they are under maintenance. We have publicly broadcasted this message numerous times. The Crypto Wallet and Spend Card features are still operational which are the biggest components of our business and why people actually use us (hence why all of our branding is @SpendCard). Once banking services in your region are available again feel free to try the app again. From being able to actually do this from living and going to banks at all times is a deal closer. I downloaded this wallet, made an account, got verified, issued a virtual Visa card and linked to Apple Pay. Offer a decent amount of altcoins.
