Spendful is a calm, simple way to notice your spending without budgets or bank connections.

Log your spending as it happens, with support for multiple entries per day, optional categories, and the exact date and time of each purchase. Scan a receipt or share one directly from your camera roll or any other app and Spendful will fill in the details for you.

Review gentle weekly and monthly summaries to understand your habits over time. A personal journal lets you capture your own thoughts alongside the numbers. AI-powered insights reflect on your spending in a tone that suits you: calm, playful, or direct.

Your Spendful Companion is an AI assistant built into the app. Ask it to log an entry, look up what you spent last week, add a category, set a reminder, or just reflect on a purchase, all through natural conversation. You can also speak to your companion using voice.

Spendful is designed for awareness, not judgment. There are no budgets, no goals, and no ads.

It also includes small reliability improvements around feedback delivery and release configuration.

Receipt scanning, Companion, insights, and voice input now use a more secure backend flow. Receipt totals are handled more accurately, voice input is more stable, and several small edge cases were cleaned up for a smoother experience.

Free and trial accounts now get more room to explore — higher limits on recurring items and categories before upgrading.

Your Companion can now set reminders for you directly in conversation. It'll ask for notification permission if needed and let you know if something goes wrong, rather than silently failing.

Journal reminders are here. Spendful now sends a gentle nudge every Saturday and on the last day of each month, tap the notification and your journal opens automatically, ready to write.

You can also share receipts directly from your camera roll or any other app into Spendful to log them instantly.
