Plus often I have to re-link my bank account which in my opinion shouldn’t need to happen at all, and definitely not as often. ### 3/5 — QR Camera Not Working *2025-02-27, version 0.3.17* The QR camera isn’t working.. I’m pretty sure that’s how you pay the dispo?? Just downloaded app, so I don’t know how I’ll keep it. ### 3/5 — Okay app *2025-01-13* This app is pretty good and it was so easy to make my purchase so I loved that. It was very easy to set up my bank and get started and add money but I don't like the feature where you can't withdraw your money back into your account if you have it left over. So you have to spend the money at the dispensary or you won't get it back. So that is unfortunate and I hope there is an update so I can alter the amount that I put on the Spendr card. ### 5/5 — Venmo For Weed *2024-12-09, version 0.3.16* I use this exclusively for dispensaries, and it does the job. ### 5/5 — Easy to use *2024-07-31, version 0.3.16* Makes purchasing weed easy! ### 5/5 — So far so good! *2024-06-09* As of now, there is only one Dispo in Phx that currently excepts Spendr, and thank goodness it’s my main one! I absolutely love it! No more having to pull cash out. And I like that we get to add the money ourselves, instead it being directly taken from our account like Dutchie, who actually double charged me and would refund me the double charge. I hope the other dispos around hop on this train! ### 2/5 — It’s ok, but purposely designed to keep your money. *2024-05-15* You can’t add exact amounts so you have to round it up and you can’t withdraw the money back bank account. So unless you happen to make a purchase for an exact dollar amount they will keep whatever is left over when you stop using the app. It’s designed that way on purpose and I think that’s shady. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We do not keep your money if you stop using the app. Please reach out to support@spendr.com and we can make sure you get your money back if you're done using the app. ### 5/5 — The only cannabis app I’ve found that puts the consumer first! *2024-05-09* I love using this app because it allows me to purchase products from my favorite dispensary, without the extra hassle of having to stop at an ATM on the way. I’m also a big fan of the rewards tab which saves me $100’s per year! I definitely recommend giving it a shot. ### 5/5 — Awesome app *2024-04-29* I used this app to purchase some marijuana from my favorite dispensary. It was effortless and allowed me to get in and out the dispensary without any hassle. The best part about using this app is that there are NO FEES associated to the buyer and it allows the buyer to build up rewards and free cash$$$$!!!!! ### 5/5 — One of the best apps for cash *2024-02-22* I cannot say anything bad about Spendr. If I had a problem it was quick to get resolved. I receive notices of deals from places I frequent. I also get opportunities for bonus funds from their giveaways and deals offered. Every so often you will need to renew the link to your bank. There’s a possibility that you can lose your link with your bank account, giving you a negative balance because the money was never sent causing it to take several business days to be able to deposit any money to make it right. Other than that the app was actually pretty neat and has a lot of potential but the not being able to withdraw deposited money is devastating. **Developer response:** Hello, thank you for leaving a review! Deposited what I needed. Bought my stuff. Went home. Worked an entire week. Needed more stuff. Only had so much to spend and come to find out Spendr didn’t take last weeks deposit till literally when I walk in the store a week later. No notification. No negative balance. My balance said 5.00. ### 1/5 — App won’t open *2025-10-21, version 0.3.20* The app has been working fine but now refuses to open. It just sits on the launch screen until it crashes. This is after the app completely bugging out yesterday while I tried to add funds. ### 1/5 — Terrible technical difficulties *2025-09-24, version 0.3.20* Do not put money in this app. It doesn't work half the time. ### 1/5 — difficult to connect your bank *2025-08-26, version 0.3.20* i signed up for a promo credit and was rewarded the credit after linking my bank info. a couple days later when i went to the dispensary the credit was gone from my account and my bank was unlinked. i have tried to relink my bank info multiple times but in the app it says there is an error. even though i keep getting email for successfully linking my bank account, it will not work in the app. ### 1/5 — No help!!! *2025-02-22* I’ve been trying to link my bank account for over 4 hours so I can earn rewards since I spend so much money there and it keeps bugging. Will email me saying my account has been linked but on the app it tells me there was a error. Tried getting in touch with support over 10 times and that was a complete joke. There is a glitch that basically tells them you don’t want you money anymore and they keep it and won’t return it! I lost $85 on these Shysters. They told me the only thing they could do is close out my account and wouldn’t give the additional money we added because we thought I was a glitch as they told us. Download at your own risk. ### 1/5 — Probably a scam *2023-02-21* These people came into a shop to set this app up for people and play a plinko game. And you can win free money and you also get $25 for downloading the app and signing up. Catch is you have to send two small Fees of $0.99 or less. Funny thing is some banks that don’t have good security it works for higher end banks with good security do not allow these withdraws from your account. Total scam to probably get access to your bank. Mine app won’t even set up with my bank. **Developer response:** Thank you for the comment. You're referring to our manual link process, which verifies your bank account using micro-deposits. This whole process is done by Plaid and the $0.99 is put back into your bank account. I've tried deleting and redownloading the app. I've tried unlinking and re-linking my bank account....still nothing. My account has over $5k in it, i was trying to make a deposit of $250. Your app told me that I didn't have enough balance when clearly I do. The rewards tab never has rewards on it besides the first $25 credit for joining.
