## What is SperantaTV?

Intr-o lume derutata si instrainata, Speranta TV ofera o perspectiva crestina asupra subiectelor de actualitate si promoveaza adevaratele valori in societate. Prin tonul cald si optimist al emisiunilor si prin dragostea pentru oameni, Speranta TV este alaturi de toti cei care au nevoie de speranta, dar si de cei care au gasit-o si doresc sa o impartaseasca si altora.

Speranta TV este afiliata retelei de televiziune Hope Channel, lansata oficial in anul 2003, care cuprinde 12 canale mondiale si transmite in multe dintre limbile lumii, folosind 13 sateliti si 16 retele diferite. Programele Hope Channel sunt vizionate de peste un miliard de persoane de pe toate continentele prin statii TV gratuite, satelit, cablu si pagini web.

In Romania, Speranta TV are o istorie relativ scurta. La inceputul deceniului, s-a constituit studioul de productie Hope Media, in care erau realizate documentare si emisiuni difuzate pe alte canale TV. Pe data de 2 septembrie 2002 a fost lansata emisiunea „In Centrul Atentiei” pe Realitatea TV. Dupa numai cateva saptamani, studioul HopeMedia a fost legat prin fibra optica de RealitateaTV, astfel ca emisiunea a devenit live si a fost difuzata pana in mai 2004.

In anii 2004-2005 a fost construit si a inceput echiparea unui centru de productie si s-a s-a cristalizat ideea curajoasa a infiintarii unui canal propriu de televiziune. Prima zi de emisie a noului post, Speranta TV, a fost 30 aprilie 2007, la ora 18. Sloganul postului este „Pasiune pentru viata”, iar valorile pe care le promoveaza – speranta, libertatea, increderea in puterea credintei de a innobila existenta umana.

In prezent, grila de programe imbina productii proprii (80% din timpul de emisie) cu programe de cea mai buna calitate preluate de la Hope Channel International si din alte surse. Saptamanal, se desfasoara mai bine de 17 ore de programe in direct, care permit interactiunea dintre realizatori si publicul din tara si strainatate.

Sustinerea familiei si a tineretului, educatia pentru un stil de viata sanatos, impartasirea experientelor de curaj si responsabilitate sociala, formarea bunului gust, cultivarea culturii si a spiritualitatii biblice – iata cateva dintre liniile principale pe care se inscriu emisiunile postului Speranta TV.
