It is very basic, though. It hasn’t been updated in a year, so I guess there won’t be any improvements coming… ### 4/5 — Great 360 photo viewer *2023-05-27* Does a great job of finding and viewing my Ricoh Theta and DJI drone 360 photos. Useful additions would be: In thumbnail view: Slider to control the size of the thumbnails (it can be difficult to distinguish them sometimes). Toggle (in settings, perhaps) to switch between showing the whole image or a section of the image as the thumbnail - a square from the “front” section would be a good start. Maybe the ability to select part of an image for its thumbnail. Ability to manually add photos that are missed when scanning (being able to “open in” the app from the Photos app, perhaps). Highlight the image that was just viewed and closed. In image view: Buttons to switch to the next and previous images without having to close the image, remember which was it was, and select the next one. Ability to zoom in and out in the map (with a pin or indicator showing the photo’s location). It would also be great for the app to be usable on Apple TV. Being able to view 360 images on a large TV would be awesome! ### 4/5 — Endlich eine App, die tut, was sie verspricht. *2023-04-03* Panoramen anzeigen und das war’s. Nicht mehr, nicht weniger. Ganz schlicht und geradeaus, ohne Klimbim, dafür auch ohne unnötige Spielereien oder gar Überraschungen. So mag ich das. Die Darstellungsqualität reicht auf jeden Fall locker, um 360-Panos auf dem „kleinen“ iPad Pro adäquat vorzuzeigen. Die Panoramen werden auch immer zuverlässiger erkannt – es gibt von Version zu Version immer weniger „false positives“. Mehr braucht so eine App nicht. Sehr gut! Would be great to add iPad/iPhone movement activation in future update. ### 3/5 — So, so close. *2022-01-11* This does better than the other 360 photo viewers available, except for one very major problem: it doesn't recognize all of them, and doesn't let me import any that it doesn't auto-detect. In particular, it tends to skip over shots of fictional environments, ones manually put through photo stitching software, or ones that went through Photoshop in some way. I can only view shots taken through Google Street View. Just throw 6€ out of the Window ### 2/5 — Only for 360 files in Photos *2026-01-07* Have a bunch of 360 pictures that I want to show my clients taken on a Insta360 but this app will only read 360 pictures in you Photo App Library. If you have use the Insta360 app to view your pictures it only does it in a 9:16(vertical) format. It does this in bare minimal fashion — no auto-rotation, no orienting the panorama by moving the device, no way to display the next pano without going back to the overview. What’s worse: the rotation of a pano is slow to start (has a lag) on an iPad Pro 10,5 — this I find unacceptable. For € 0.99 € all this might have been ok, but € 5.99 is way to much, especially if you compare how much effort other people put into similarly priced apps. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Simple and Clean *2025-11-30* Just what I wanted! It does exactly what it promises with a simple, elegant interface. The app could be made even more useful (to me, at least) by adding the ability to search for specific images using titles, keywords, locations, or dates. In my library, it’s tough to differentiate among the many aerial images shown through the interface. Short of that, the inclusion of more information fields (title, keywords, caption) on the info page could help to identify images. Even the option to show larger thumbnails would help. Despite my specific use case desires, Spherium remains the best 360 panorama viewer I have found for the iPhone and iPad. ### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed. *2021-12-11* Does what it describes. I am fed up of all the “useless” Phone apps that appear even when you have the filter selected for iPad only - and most are pretty poor, even though most are free. This wasn’t free but out of some frustration I invested. And guess what - it works really well. Finds images on you camera roll - in date order - thank you (unlike some of the phone apps!) and displays them in in full resolution Nice feature is it allow you to position the shot and then take a snapshot in different aspect ratios for exporting . (Although quick update for the developer - the export resolution is slightly lower / more distorted than what you get from just doing a screen shot of the view) Thank you - very pleased. Oh, one slight issue - it added some basic panoramic photos to the 360 degree viewer selection - although you can switch from 360 view to panoramic view. Anyway I have what I have been searching for.
