### 2/5 — Great except for a big issue

*2025-12-16, version 1.1.10*

This app is great to manage our tickets but we keep running into the issue of it constantly logging us out and not remembering the login information. Would love to utilize it more but it’s so frustrating being on the go and trying to look at open tickets and having to constantly log back in.

### 1/5 — Head scratcher

*2025-05-27, version 1.1.9*

For an app for IT professionals, this is embarrassing. You would think that the tools for the job would be polished and have the bugs worked out instead we get an app that is more of a web clip that won’t stay signed in and errors constantly especially when you are replying to a ticket. If this is how this front end works what kind of security issues and bad code are on the back end?

### 1/5 — Still ads

*2025-05-19, version 1.1.9*

We pay for the service through the new subscription model that was recently pushed, but we still receive ads in the application. These ads are typically videos that encompass the entire screen and are not able to be skipped. I would recommend a different provider.

### 1/5 — Non starter

*2025-03-12, version 1.1.9*

Can’t even log in to evaluate. No Google sign-on? Waste of time

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2025-03-04, version 1.1.9*

Doesn’t work at all. Support non existent

### 1/5 — Absolutely Abysmal

*2025-02-10, version 1.1.9*

App is total trash and it appears development of it has stopped. I guess that’s what you get for free… time to look for a real help desk solution.

### 1/5 — Tickets are missing

*2025-01-23, version 1.1.9*

I work a helpdesk. I have the mobile and desktop version. The mobile app is not syncing and the open tickets are missing on the app. I have reinstalled it with no luck. Its basically useless right now (mobile version). I am running IOS 18.1.1

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on iPad Mini

*2025-01-10, version 1.1.9*

Says they are working on it.

### 1/5 — Clearly not a Dev Priority

*2024-12-10, version 1.1.9*

This app hasn’t been updated in two years, and that’s not due to a lack of action items. The app appears to have been abandoned.

### 1/5 — No Google Sign In

*2024-10-30, version 1.1.9*

I’m unable to use this app anymore because we switched to Google SSO. Also tapping notification, the main use of this app, always brings me to an error and I have to go find the ticket manually.

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2024-10-22, version 1.1.9*

All of a sudden I have to constantly login now twice. Once on the app launch screen and once within the ticket view

### 1/5 — New Version not good

*2024-10-21, version 1.1.9*

I have to login every time I open the app. Previous version stayed logged in.
I am very disappointed in this new version.
Please fix ASAP!

### 1/5 — Very Unreliable

*2024-08-30, version 1.1.9*

This app is very frustrating. All of our team experiences constant problems attempting to add updates, close tickets, add comments, and/or add attachments. Reinstalling the app works for a day or so before problems arise again. This has been a consistent issue ever since Spiceworks created the new app a few years back. We are looking at other solutions, preferably one that will integrate with Azure/Entra.

### 1/5 — Bad design and use

*2024-07-01, version 1.1.9*

The app is awful, continually crashes on iPhones and doesn’t work period on iPads even though you can download it…

### 1/5 — App is practically useless

*2024-05-06, version 1.1.9*

I know we shouldn’t complain too much as this is a free app and service, but if an app is going to be provided it is reasonable to expect it to have basic functionality. Aside from the fact that it is lacking some functions like deleting or merging tickets, any time you click on a notification regarding a ticket you get a 404 error. Even worse, after you spend time writing a response to a ticket and try to post it, it is almost guaranteed to say “An unknown error has occurred” and it will not post, even after several attempts or restarting the app. Exceptionally frustrating to use. Highly recommend at least exploring alternative options.

### 1/5 — Abandoned

*2024-04-18*

It feels like this app has been abandoned and not supported any longer. The notifications work but when clicked always result in a 404 error. If the app was being supported this would be fixed in a heartbeat. The app works but not very well. I guess being free you do get what your paying for. Looks like it’s been a year since an update. It shows. Don’t expect anything great from this app. Just meh, better than nothing but not great.

Edit:
Adjusted rating from 3 to 1 as nothing has been fixed since the initial rating. This app has clearly been abandoned.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Overall rating speaks for itself

*2026-04-10, version 1.1.14*

Gotta love it when tickets are piling in & you’re *once again* unable to sign into the mobile app while notifications fail to deliver (push notifications & email; sometimes both, sometimes one)….repeatedly. Not to mention there’s 0 escalation capabilities AND they just started charging for s subscription….without adding a single feature…besides ads - that’s right you see ADS while you’re signed into the ‘cloud helpdesk’ platform your company PAYS for to do your job). Really great stuff guys keep it up! Only here because I’m deleting the app & reinstalling- hoping to god I can just sign in to view a ticket starting with “Locked out of building….” Thanks! 👍🏻

### 1/5 — Abandoned

*2026-03-03, version 1.1.13*

It feels like this app has been abandoned and not supported any longer. The notifications work but when clicked always result in a 404 error. If the app was being supported this would be fixed in a heartbeat. The app works but not very well. I guess being free you do get what your paying for. Looks like it’s been a year since an update. Edit:
Adjusted rating from 3 to 1 as nothing has been fixed since the initial rating. This app has clearly been abandoned.

Edit:
Uninstalled. They finally updated the app. After four updates it’s worse than before. Now every time i need it, I have to re-log in. The 404 errors and crashing on reply is still there too. Our company has started to review a replacement support desk solution.

### 1/5 — Love Spiceworks, but the devs don’t care enough about this app

*2026-01-10, version 1.1.11*

Just make this open source and let your good old reliable community make this better. Please. The app is practically useless. Terrible process. Making me look elsewhere at this point. Small MSP

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2025-12-17, version 1.1.11*

Have to login every time you launch the app since the update

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-12-12, version 1.1.10*

Logs out constantly. Errors out constantly when closing a ticket. Why am I paying for this service again?

### 1/5 — Logs out constantly

*2025-12-08, version 1.1.10*

This app is barely usable. If I have to constantly log back into it, I get alerts on tickets and when I go to the app, I have to sign in every time. Do the developers care about performance?

### 1/5 — Trash App if it wasn’t free no one would use it.

*2025-10-22, version 1.1.9*

If this app wasn’t free no one would use it. Constant issues with login, submitting replies and probably thee worst search function I’ve used in any platform. School dude 10 years ago was a better ticketing system application than this is in 2025. The engineering team for Spiceworks should be fired this app is an embarrassment to Technology field considering how world wide Spiceworks is. Take some pride in your work and do better.

### 1/5 — Notifications

*2025-10-08, version 1.1.9*

Besides the 404 error they have never fixed, what happened to my notification alerts?? They don’t work anymore!!!!

### 1/5 — Abandoned

*2025-07-08, version 1.1.9*

Constantly signed out for some reason. Really defeats the purpose if I randomly get signed out DAILY. Also 404 if you click on any notifications. Clunky ticket update menu too. Its a nice to have but its incredibly frustrating to work with.

### 1/5 — Some basic functions don’t work

*2025-05-31, version 1.1.9*

It’s not possible to send a message to update a ticket… it just gives an error.

It can be useful to view attachments, if the email isn’t well formatted, but not great for managing tickets.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Don’t forget, it’s free!!!!!

*2025-03-06, version 1.1.9*

The only gripe I have is that it’s logging me out randomly. A fix for that would make it even better.

### 5/5 — Spiceworks for life!

*2022-05-03, version 1.1.5*

I love you and have for 15 years… but PLEASE MAKE AN IPAD APP!!!!!

### 4/5 — Due date not save

*2022-04-21*

Due date is not save with the app

### 4/5 — Good start

*2022-03-16, version 1.1.4*

So far I like the app. There could be some minor improvements and introductions that could be made. 1) a loading / splash screen when you launch the app. This would stop confusion if the app is broken or not. Usually I will go to open the app and I will have the top bar and menu accessible, however not my tickets. I loading screen would be beneficial to know that the tickets are loading rather than just sitting at a blank screen. I am looking forward to the improvements that are to come with this mobile app.

### 3/5 — Please Fix

*2025-12-12, version 1.1.10*

App logs you out every time you close it out.

### 3/5 — iPad

*2024-09-22, version 1.1.9*

Are you ever are you ever going to get the app to also work on an iPad? A developer response would be appreciated

### 3/5 — It’s functional.

*2024-08-08, version 1.1.9*

It’s like when your not really handy but you own a house so you kind of have to pretend to be handy sometimes to save money and all of the sudden you have a plumbing issue and have to rip up some drywall and reroute some piping, but praise God…with a bit of effort and a little bit of money you fixed the issue and your bathroom sink becomes functional again…but fast forward 2 years later and you still never finished the job and made it look nice by patching the drywall, painting and whatever else.

That’s this app, it’s functional, at least in my use-case of walking down a hallway being stopped and asked to fix another issue and with only my phone handy I can put in a quick ticket for myself and my team to see instantly.

However…there’s no dark mode, and that alone necessitates an uninstall, and the last update was 1 year ago, so yeah it’s functional.
Nonetheless the functional nature of this app prevents me from uninstalling but propels me toward this review in hopes that others agree and the developers decide to put a bit more effort into this thing.

That said thank you anyways, this could be a really wonderful app with a bit more effort. Keep it simple, add some features and update more often.

### 3/5 — So there is a major issue when adding more than 15 assignees

*2024-02-06, version 1.1.9*

I have an issue on iOS that basically glitches anytime I try to assign a ticket to someone that is a diffeeent email address than the ones I have already done would be nice if this was resolved

### 3/5 — Abandoned

*2024-01-17*

It feels like this app has been abandoned and not supported any longer. The notifications work but when clicked always result in a 404 error. If the app was being supported this would be fixed in a heartbeat. The app works but not very well. I guess being free you do get what your paying for. Looks like it’s been a year since an update. ### 3/5 — Notifications Repeating Many Times

*2023-10-17, version 1.1.9*

It seems like starting in October (or perhaps with iPhone 15) the notifications from this app repeat 5+ times. Every notification does this, so I can rack up dozens with a single ticket response.

Clicking on a notification from the Lock Screen always produces a 404 not found message until I refresh the app. This has been going on for months. There was an update to fix a 404, but the problem persists.

I have currently uninstalled the app to avoid my phone blowing up endlessly all day. I do enjoy Spiceworks and this Help Desk, but it’s performance has degraded over the years.
