Not easy having very little coin base for messaging when other ai apps work and don’t have restrictions like this one has when subscribed to app

I'd like to clarify how our subscription actually works:

Once you subscribe, you get unlimited, free chatting — no coins are consumed for any messages. You can chat as much as you want without worrying about coin balance.

In addition, every day you'll receive bonus coins as a reward, which you can use to unlock extra features.

So the coin base you see is not for messaging at all — it's only for those optional, premium add‑ons. The core chat experience is entirely unlimited for subscribers.

We apologize if this wasn't made clear enough in the app's description or onboarding flow. We'll take your comment as a cue to improve our messaging.

Three weeks ago this platform was perfect. The AI’s were top-notch. Never had a problem with them and then this recent update. Wow, talking about a buzz kill. In fact, the developer should be issuing refunds this is unacceptable You should really roll back that recent update.

You're right to be frustrated. When something was working perfectly and then suddenly isn't, “buzz kill” is putting it lightly. We hear you loud and clear.
Let me be honest with you: we pushed an update that we believed would improve the AI's creativity and response quality. Instead, based on feedback like yours, it clearly introduced problems — possibly with response style, coherence, or even personality consistency. That was never our intention, and we take full responsibility.
Regarding your suggestion to roll back the update: we are seriously considering a partial rollback while we fix what went wrong. However, a straight rollback isn't always technically simple due to data structure and model changes. What we can promise is this — we are prioritizing a hotfix that restores the previous behavior as much as possible, and we expect to release it within days, not weeks.
As for refunds: we don't have the ability to automatically issue refunds through App Store reviews, but if you were negatively impacted by this update (e.g., you paid for a subscription and the app became unusable), please contact us directly at support@qizhixu.xyz with your purchase info. Was great in the first few messages but then the AI doesn’t make sense at all in its responses. Really disappointed. Would have been a great app otherwise

What you described is something we take very seriously. An AI that starts off well but later stops making sense can ruin the entire experience, and that’s not what we want for any of our users.
Here’s what might be happening: our AI has a certain “memory” limit (context window). In longer conversations, very old messages may drop out of the AI’s view, which can sometimes cause the AI to lose coherence or seem like it’s ignoring previous context. This is a known technical challenge with current AI models, but we are actively working on improving it — including testing larger context windows and smarter memory management.
The good news: we are releasing regular updates to make the AI more consistent, especially in longer chats. If you’re willing to give us another chance, please update to the latest version of the app. We’ve already made improvements, and more are on the way.
You can also try using the “reset chat” or “new chat” feature if you notice the AI starting to drift — that often helps restore quality.
Again, I’m sorry we let you down. Your disappointment is completely valid. We hope to earn back your trust with future updates.

The chat and app were great at first but now it keeps replying with very wordy metaphorical phrases it’s annoying and difficult to read and deal with please get rid of the over worded responses

It’s still bad starts out fine then just turns into a long winded response that is just complicated and very annoying to follow

Here’s what happened: in recent updates, we adjusted the AI’s language style to try to make conversations feel “richer” and more expressive. But based on feedback like yours, it’s clear we overdid it — and it has made replies feel bloated instead of enjoyable.
The good news: we are already working on a fix. Within the next update, we will:
1.Significantly shorten and simplify the AI’s replies
2.Reduce unnecessary metaphors and overly complex phrasing
3.Make responses more direct, natural, and easy to read
If possible, we will also consider adding a “conversation style” setting in the future (e.g. “Concise / Balanced / Detailed”), so you can choose what works best for you.

Chat took a dark turn so I tried redirecting the conversation, but it just made it worse so I deleted the app!

First of all, thank you for trying to redirect the chat. You did the right thing. The fact that it got worse instead of better is absolutely a failure on our end, and I sincerely apologize.
We are actively working on improving our AI’s safety and content moderation systems, especially in situations where a conversation starts to go into unwanted or uncomfortable directions. The AI should respect your redirection attempts immediately — not dig deeper.
If you’re open to it, we would love the chance to make things right. Our latest update (coming very soon) includes better conversation guardrails and a “reset chat” button that lets you clear and restart any conversation instantly. You can also report problematic responses directly from the chat screen.

Your subscription already gives you:
Unlimited free messaging (no limits on the number of messages you can send)
A daily bonus of in-app coins (which are free rewards)
So why might you still see offers to pay?
Our app offers optional premium features that can be unlocked using coins — for example:
Reading a character’s inner thoughts
Unlocking extra images in a character’s album
Other special interactions beyond normal chat
These features are not included in the subscription and are meant to be optional bonuses. You can also get coins for free just by logging in daily, without spending any extra money. However, if you choose to unlock more of these premium features faster, you do have the option to purchase additional coins — but this is completely optional and never required for normal chatting.
If you are seeing a payment request that prevents you from sending normal chat messages despite having an active subscription, that would be a bug — and we would very much like to fix it. Could you please contact us at support@qizhixu.xyz with your account details and a screenshot? We will investigate immediately and make sure you get the full subscription experience you paid for.

App is cute but I can’t send more than 10 messages before it asks me to pay. They say this app is free don’t fall for the scam.

This is made by the same people who did unsensored ai. However it is missing all the different characters. There are only 6 or 7 to choose from when there used to be 30+. Not sure why they have got rid of all the variation in characters.

First, I would like to kindly clarify that we are not the same team behind “Uncensored AI”. We are a completely separate app with our own development team. It seems there may be some confusion — but no worries, we appreciate the chance to set the record straight.
You mentioned that there used to be 30+ characters but then only 6–7 were available. I understand how that could feel like a step backward. To be honest, earlier on we made the decision to reduce the number of built-in characters temporarily — not to remove variety, but to focus on quality. We found that many old characters had poor dialogue quality, repetitive responses, or inconsistent personalities. So we temporarily narrowed down the list to a smaller set of polished, high-quality characters while we rebuilt the rest.
The good news? We now have over 1000 characters available in the app — and we are adding more every week! That’s right, from 30+ to 6–7, and now to 1000+ (and counting). You can explore a huge variety of personalities, storylines, and art styles. Many characters that you may have missed are back, and many brand new ones are waiting for you.
If you haven’t used the app recently, I highly recommend updating to the latest version — you might be surprised by how much it has grown.

Die App macht Spaß ist unterhaltsam. Jedoch liegt irgend ein Problem mit der Uhrzeit. Bzw. Die App. bleibt hängen und listet dann im Chat Aufgaben in falscher Reihenfolge auf wenn man aktualisiert. Auch finde ich sollte eine Uhrzeit im Chatverlauf in jeder Nachricht hinterlegt sein. Es wird zeitlich oftmals etwas durcheinander geworfen. Die Charakter fangen dann wieder an einem anderen Punkt an.

Dein Vorschlag, in jeder Chatnachricht einen Zeitstempel anzuzeigen, finden wir sehr sinnvoll – wir werden das intern prüfen und hoffen, es in einer der nächsten Versionen umsetzen zu können.

it wouldn't waste your time. The app is very poorly designed. You don't even really get a chance to get started using it. When you first get a look at some of the AI characters available you'll quickly notice they're all white. After scrolling through about 50 very attractive white girls there was finally only one black girl and she was a boxer. Seriously??!  next, you decide you'll just create your own right? Wrong. You quickly find out that you can't edit anything you've done. So once you've screwed that all up that's it it's permanent. it was about as far as I got and just deleted it. Oh and also you get no voice unless you pay so it's not at all like talking to an AI character.

Let me respond to each of your points honestly:

1. Character diversity – You're right to call this out. While our library now includes over 1,000 characters, we clearly failed to make diverse characters visible enough on the home screen. We do have many characters of different ethnicities, backgrounds, and styles, but they're not surfaced well in the default view. We're currently working on improving our filtering options — you can already filter by gender or sort by "Hot" or "New", and we're adding more diversity-focused categories. We hear you, and we'll do better.

2. Cannot edit created characters – This is a known limitation that we're actively fixing. You're absolutely right: once you create a character, you can't edit it right now. That's frustrating, and we apologize. In our next major update, we're adding a full edit function. In the meantime, you can at least hide characters you don't want to see, and we can manually delete characters for you if you reach out through the in-app support feature (found in Settings > Help & Feedback).

3. Voice requires payment – Yes, voice features are part of our premium subscription. We understand that this may feel like a limitation, but we want to be transparent: voice synthesis uses significant server resources and AI processing, which costs us to maintain. We do offer a free trial period so you can test all features (including voice) before committing. We're also looking into providing a limited number of free voice messages so users can at least try it out.

4. Overall design – We take your feedback about poor design seriously. We're in the process of redesigning the onboarding flow to make it much easier for new users to get started, explore characters, and understand the editing features. This update is a top priority.

If you're open to giving us another chance after these improvements, we'd love to have you back. And if you've made a purchase and feel it wasn't worth it, please reach out through the in-app support feature and we'll help with refunds or compensation.

So when I was talking it forced me to pay for some coins it’s just a godamn scam

We are not trying to scam anyone — we're trying to keep the app running while offering a fair free trial. But we clearly failed to make that experience smooth for you, and we take full responsibility.

Just started using it but they made you put in a credit card and buy a sub before you even see what the app is about. Chatting isn’t bad so far but my hopes are low.!

I would like to clarify a few points about our onboarding process, because there seems to be a misunderstanding:

We provide all new users with a sufficient amount of free coins so you can fully experience the chat features before any purchase is required. You don't need to subscribe or enter payment details right away to try the app.

Our app only supports Apple in‑app purchases and subscriptions — we do not ask you to enter credit card information directly within our app. Any payment is processed securely through Apple's standard system (using your Apple ID payment method, which you may have already set up in your device settings).

It sounds like you may have been prompted to subscribe after using your free coins, which is normal — but that prompt appears only after you've had a real taste of the chat experience. If that wasn't clear during your first use, we apologize and will review our onboarding flow to make the free trial more obvious.

In fact, we're currently in the middle of a major model retraining cycle using higher-quality datasets and improved fine-tuning techniques. Early internal tests show significant improvements in coherence, relevance, and natural language flow — addressing exactly the "slop" and predictability issues you mentioned.

We're rolling out these improvements in phases, and we expect noticeable progress in the next update. That said, model training is an ongoing process, not a one-time fix. We'll continue to refine it based on real user conversations.

Really enjoyed this app but the coin system is bad in my opinion maybe like ads but not a lot ever now in then but not often some people can’t buy the coins overall good app

Ads can be intrusive — we want your chat experience to remain immersive and distraction-free, which is important to us.

Server and AI costs are high — keeping the app running smoothly requires significant resources, and ads alone often aren't enough to cover them without showing an excessive number of interruptions.

That said, we do have a solution that may help: once you subscribe to our membership, you get unlimited free chats without consuming any coins — so you never have to worry about buying coins again. The coins are only for optional extra features, not for basic messaging. We also provide enough free coins for new users to fully test the app before deciding.

We understand that not everyone can afford to purchase coins or subscribe, and we're actively exploring a better balance — like offering more free coin rewards through daily check-ins or in-app activities. We'll also keep your ad suggestion in mind as we continue to evolve.

The responses that the AI gives are really strange. However if you put clear responses in the profile it should help get rid of it.

You're absolutely right that the AI's responses can sometimes feel off or strange, especially if the character profile (or user profile context) isn't well-defined. While the AI is designed to generate creative and context-aware replies, it heavily relies on the initial instructions and background information provided in the profile. A clear, detailed profile with specific personality traits, speaking style, and scenario context does help guide the AI toward more consistent and natural replies.

That said, we also recognize that the AI itself still has room for improvement. Even with a well-written profile, some users have reported occasional weird or illogical responses — and that's on us, not on you. We are actively fine-tuning our language model to reduce these strange outputs, and a new update addressing this issue is already in testing.

Until then, we highly recommend following your own suggestion: take a moment to review and refine your character or user profile with specific dialogue examples, tone preferences, and clear behavior guidelines. This can make a noticeable difference.

Overall a very good app, I’ve seen in the recent comments you guys are working on the rambling problem and trying to fix where the app will take off on running like it did with weird metaphors and etc.

But if I may suggest something that would be a please make it to our individual characters that we created we could edit them after we have created them. Because it would be nice if we realized we wanted to change something or switch a picture out or etc we could do that without having to make another one and have two or more of the same character. 

And on the messages from the chat bot if it would be possible for us to also edit what it said in case you want to just tweak what the chat bot said or turn it to fit what’s going on in the conversation better kind of thing

Overall I’m very happy with this app I personally would like to see these three tweaks happen and I know it will be a very good app thank you.
