It took me forever to find the names of the games. I downloaded this one and got through the first few levels. Then I realized that to play the rest of the levels, I have pay $5.99 per month. I don’t want to pay $6 dollars so I can finish a mobile game that I’ve already started. **Developer response:** Everyone who purchased the game in the past should still have access to the full experience (no ads, no limits) without a subscription — please write us at support@gameclub.io and we'll get it straightened out. ### 1/5 — Locked out *2020-03-08, version 1.2.6* The new gameclub has locked me out of my game. It states that if I had already bought it then I could still play but then states that it cannot find my purchase. It was a fun game when I played it last. Do not purchase now because it is part of a subscription. ### 1/5 — Money grubbing new app service *2020-02-29* I purchased this game on the App Store and now it is going through some outside subscription app service that said they can’t find where I purchased it on apple. They say on their web page that if you bought it you own it but until they can figure it out if I want to play they make me watch adds for game time. **Developer response:** Everyone who bought this game prior to this update will continue to have full access to the game without starting a subscription. It sounds like this free upgrade benefit did not work for you — please write us at support@gameclub.io to get it straightened out. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t recognize Apple purchase *2019-12-29, version 1.2.2* I purchased this game though Apple Apps. Your company has purchased this from the creator of the game. I see no reason why I should have to join your website to restore MY purchased game. Great. Thanks. ### 2/5 — Very different from the original *2019-06-13* I’ve gotten stuck very early in this game because there are no sparkles or clue where the opening is. Maybe I just haven’t found the way out of the first room one I’ve eaten all of the bugs. I don’t want to replay this level over and over...one after eating everything the spider disappeared! Don’t bother downloading it, it’s not actually free, it’s $7 per month. ### 1/5 — Why? Just why? *2024-08-29, version 1.2.23* I paid full price for this game years ago and I really really enjoyed it, now I come back to play the game I paid for and I can’t play past the second level without subscribing to game centre. Please give the option to just buy this game again, as I don’t want to make monthly payments to play one game. Absolutely horrible money hungry decision. ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2021-11-27* To play this past the first couple of levels you have to pay for a subscription to game club. It’s really not worth it with so many other games out there. Game itself is ok the original was better doesn’t seem very clear played on a phone and is hard to identify the insects. What ruined it for me was having to get a subscription just to play. ### 1/5 — Locked behind subscription *2021-09-08* This is one of the most disappointing things that’s happened to any of the old iOS games. Locking content behind a subscription for a classic like this is a huge shame, this game should be on Apple Arcade if anywhere, not on some unknown weird subscription service gathering dust. Will not close, so I cannot play. Not interested in adverts. I’ll have to delete game if I don’t receive an answer. One star because of not being to close ads. My only problem is how you’re capitalizing off of it, making us pay tokens, or even money to play for just 5 minutes. When the game was sold , it was upgraded via the app store, and said upgrade forced a free “upgrade” to a Gameclub subscription model that I am not interested in. My game is now worthless because the app won’t let me opt out. Wonderfully atmospheric and controls brilliantly on touch screen. I bought this game when it came out at launch at a premium price. I updated my game recently, and now it says I need a premium subscription to play the game? What gives? Why do legacy owners not get access to the game we payed for? ### 5/5 — Unbelievably amazing!.. *2021-08-09* So, When i was younger, (Keep in mind, I am eleven.) I saw this this game that intrigued me. So i thought, why not give it a go? Beautiful. The very first second i started playing, I starting looking at the spider, noticing the detail. Of course, me being curious, I explored the map. The amount of detail and creativity suprimes me. Immediately, I fell in love with this game. Until one day, i had to delete it because of my storage. Now here i am, looking through all the apps i got, and found this. I have already downloaded this again, and i will definitely show this to my spider-loving friends. Thank you for making this game! I've gone to great lengths to have it on multiple platforms, and have replayed it countless times. I've never encountered another game with such a depth to the story, or one with such unique play itself. Location and weather features make for fresh play. I've tried to spread the word, without giving too much of the mystery away. Please try this game!
