One of the main reasons why I got an ipad. It is super clear on the retina display and the videos make explaining spinal conditions an absolute breeze. If you are treating the spine and not using this app, I would dare to say you are not fully treating your patients. The videos are excellent in explaining the complex bio mechanical symptoms that occur due to spine injury or illness. There is no doubt in my mind that with better patient education, particularly in conditions of the spine, that we can reduce healthcare costs. Waste of $10. ### 1/5 — This is below 3D4Medical *2016-11-05, version 3.8.1* These app bundles from 3D4Medical caught me by surprise; I have bought and used a few of their more recent apps and have had a very good experiences. These bundles of apps, I bought today because of my previous experience with apps like complete anatomy.These are completely useless for me. In fact whenever I run one of these, my iPad says they may slow my iPad and "the developer should update the app." This is a lot of money gone down the drain. I consider this kind of doing business, not very honest. I am going to try and get my money back, if at all possible. **Developer response:** Hello, Thank you for purchasing Spine Pro III, we really appreciate it. Regarding your question, please do not worry. We plan to update our Pro Series III apps to be compatible with the next version of iOS and we will continue to support these apps. The notification is merely related to the current iOS. ### 1/5 — Bloatware 1.4GB!!! *2015-12-15* For the space it uses, the graphics resolution is poor and is less informative. Additionally, there has been no updates for over a year and this app and its series seems to have been abandoned by 3D4. They seem to be heading towards subscriptions model. ### 1/5 — DON'T BUY - WON'T DOWNLOAD *2012-08-26* APPLE - I TRIED TO DOWNLOAD THIS APP SEVERAL TIMES AND ALL IT SAID WAS 'WAITING'.... I WANT MY MONEY BACK!! ### 3/5 — Decent, but not worth it *2012-07-30* It is decent, however it is just not worth it at the moment. The 3D animation is jittery, made up of many images rather than a true 3D model and so only rotates on the Y axis. Worse still, once you find the perfect angle to view a structure, clicking "label" to identity structures takes you back to one of only a few pre-programmed views, making it a bit pointless for learning. In all, a cool concept but really wont teach you anything, rather than maybe show you a few views that you may not have seen in books before. ### 4/5 — Its good. *2014-08-24, version 3.7* I use the application to supplement the models in my office when discussing potential issues both surgical and not with my patients. However excellent customer service. I am going to explore this app along with other apps from this company. So far it looks great - navigation, graphics and information provided are excellent even for non-doctors! It would be even better had it included radiographic images and resources of diseases as well as animations of surgical procedures. It is somewhat pricey if you desire to purchase several of these types of apps. ### 4/5 — Excellent but make it better for patients *2013-01-20, version 3.3.1* I'm a chronic back pain sufferer with two spinal surgeries under my belt. This app is absolutely fantastic as an educational tool to help me understand the details of my back problems. I've even used it at work when my friends ask me about back pain...everyone who has seen it has been impressed. One thing that would be very good to add would be info and animations explaining more of the common back pain treatments, particularly spinal fusion surgery since it is so common these days. The app is obviously geared towards medical professionals, but if you add more patient-focused functionality I suspect you'd get a lot more sales.
