I hadn’t updated the firmware on my crank to the newest version which automatically and continuously calibrates the crank. It took about a minute, and the update really improved the performance of the crank and eliminated the need to perform a manual calibration. When the app is connected to the crank, it allows you to rename the crank and also displays the battery status and remaining life.
