## What is SpinSlayer?

Spin the reels. Slay the foe.

A roguelike where the odds are equipment. Load your reels with blades, wards and spells, stop every reel by hand, and fight down six areas to The House Eternal, a gilded palace of living machines.

Nothing is hidden: the foe shows its next move before you spin, and heavy weapons ask for a timed strike. Read it. Hit the window.

Death is profit: every fall pays chips for the Dark Market — permanent upgrades, new symbols, illicit mods.

• Earn two more reels and chain five-symbol combos
• 15 symbols that feed each other — gold sharpens blades, shields become axes
• 30 foes, 6 bosses, and an Endless Arena with Game Center ranks
• Pixel-art bosses, rich haptics, thumping forge soundtrack

Fall. Rebuild. Break the odds.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.2 — 2026-08-30

WHAT'S NEW IN 1.5.2

Under the hood again. This release adds an advertising measurement component,
so we can see which campaigns actually bring players to the game. It starts
only after you answer the privacy prompts, and it does nothing at all if you
decline.

No gameplay changes.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-08-24

WHAT'S NEW IN 1.5.1

Under the hood this time. When the app asks about ad tracking, the explanation
is clearer about what saying yes and no each mean — and saying no still changes
nothing about the game.

The rest is internal reliability work on purchase reporting. No gameplay
changes.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-08-19

WHAT'S NEW IN 1.5.0

AUTO-COMBAT
A new AUTO (AD) button appears in a fight. Watch the ad and the game fights that
combat for you — the reels spin and stop on their own. Every timing check still
comes to you, so a crit is still yours to land, and opening your items pauses
it. Tap AUTO to pause or resume.

THE MACHINE PERFORMS
Victory is now a ceremony: the plate slams, the payout counts up, bosses go out
in a flash of gold. The reel frame breathes and the marquee runs while the enemy
takes its turn, so nothing sits still while you wait.

SMALL SCREENS
On a 360x640 phone the SPIN button used to cover the reels, and the Ghost Bolt
and Ladder tracks ran off the arena. All three now fit. Older devices get a
lighter effects tier, so combat stays smooth.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-17

WHAT'S NEW IN 1.4.0

ITEMS
An ITEMS button now sits beside SPIN. Oils raise your damage for the whole run.
Flasks, draughts and vials are one-shots: spend gold on your turn for 70 damage,
60 block, or a 60 HP heal, right when the fight turns.

FOUR THINGS NO SYMBOL CAN DO
Torpor Flask stuns the foe. Acid Vial strips armor and shield. Focus Tonic
doubles your physical damage for one turn. Gilded Transfusion spends every coin
you own and turns it into health.

THE CHAPTER SHOP
Each chapter opens on a shop, and the shelf grows with your run — the heavy tier
appears from chapter 3.

SHIELDS HIT BACK
BULWARK now deals damage as well as blocking, and SECOND WIND strikes outward
with the healing you were too healthy to use. Defending is finally a way to end
a fight.

REBALANCED
War Horn, Ancestral Axe, Echo Crystal and Massive Blade were all retuned, and
the difficulty now climbs cleanly from the first area to the last.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-12

WHAT'S NEW IN 1.3.0

COMBOS
Land two matching symbols side by side and fuse them into one of six combos — CLEAVE, ARCANE CLEAVE, BULWARK, OVERCHARGE, PAYDAY, SECOND WIND — each with its own timing check and a full-screen payoff.

A GENTLER OPENING
Your very first fight now teaches as you play: combos and reflex checks are called out live, at a slower pace, so the rules land before the difficulty does.

FOUR NEW TIMING MINIGAMES
FORGE STRIKE, GHOST BOLT, RUNE LADDER, and the drag-and-release DRAWBACK join the existing timing checks — seven minigames in total, each testing your hands a different way.

BOSS: READ THE TELL
Bosses can flash a tell and hide it behind a shutter — remember it and answer right to blunt their OVERLOAD special.

FIXES
Fixed the timing minigames running at double speed on 120Hz iPhones and a combo check that could soft-lock a run. Chip purchases now always credit exactly once — fixed edge cases that could over-credit or under-credit a purchase.
