## What is Spintally?

Spintally is a fair random picker for every "who's it going to be?" moment. Spin a weighted wheel to settle tonight's dinner, draw lots to pick giveaway winners with a proper ceremony, or run a Japanese-style amidakuji ladder to hand out chores. And when someone cries "rigged!", open the history: Spintally keeps an honest log of every draw with hit counts next to expected odds, so everyone can see the randomness played fair.

Building a picker takes seconds. Paste a whole list straight from a chat — numbered lines, commas, Japanese separators, Spintally cleans them up and turns every line into an item. Give items colors and weights if some options should come up more often, and the wheel shows each slice's real percentage. Prefer suspense? Spin with sound and a slow build-up. In a hurry? Instant draw skips the animation and just answers.

Each set remembers its own rules. Turn on no-repeat and drawn items sit out until the pool is empty — perfect for turn order, presentation order or secret-santa style draws where nobody should win twice. Draw several winners at once for a raffle and reveal them one by one, third place first, with a stamped certificate you can save or share to prove the draw happened. The amidakuji ladder takes 2 to 20 names, traces each path with a satisfying animation, and can rank everyone or hide a single WIN behind one leg.

Spintally works completely offline and keeps your lists on your device — names you paste never leave your phone. Sounds are polite: your music keeps playing, the mute switch is respected, and every set can be silenced on its own.
