When I contacted Spintel they said they would report the issue and closed my call. Still not working. ### 1/5 — Can’t log in *2024-07-10, version 1.0.3* Useless app ### 1/5 — over 2 months to fix the invalid response buck *2024-07-08, version 1.0.3* and its still not solved! I can log in to my account via the browser, but get a “bad username or password” message when I try to log in to the app. The username and password are correct. Messaged about the problem four days ago; still no solution. This doesn’t bode well for my future customer experience. Trying to pay the bill each month turns into a long, elongated process, that could easily be done in a couple of easy steps. Basically a useless app. ### 1/5 — App is broken *2026-01-13, version 1.0.3* Does almost nothing. I don’t think anyone at spintel has even looked at the app. You have to do everything on their website. Not only that but the link your account is broken. It takes you to a my.spintel link that doesn’t seem to exist any more so I then have to manually find spintel website, then find customer, then find my account etc. it’s a shames because their product & pricing is good but just their app & website has no effort put into it at all. I feel they are loosing customers because of it. ### 1/5 — Unusuble app *2026-01-13, version 1.0.3* Completely unusable app. There is no working way to contact support — no chatbot, no complaints, no human assistance. The support section loads a blank or non-functional page. Releasing an app for a telecom company without basic support functionality is unacceptable. Earth.Liar on promise to get what you pay. ### 1/5 — Zero customer service and extreme difficulty to cancel service *2025-07-31, version 1.0.3* After being with SpinTel for two months I attempted to cancel my service (due to frequent drop outs and below expected DL speeds). The only way to do so was to contact customer service, which is impossible to do: - On hold for 2+ hours then no call back after selecting so - No reply from their online chat after 3+ days and numerous attempts - No reply from their WhatsApp and Messenger chat feature after 3+ days and numerous attempts Inability to cancel lead to continuation of charges until I finally could get it resolved (Following arbitrary complaints process). ### 1/5 — Basic *2025-06-12, version 1.0.3* The app just show your usage , that’s it nothing else. Spintel service is horrible, tried to reach them in live chat, whatsup, called them , no responses, been waiting on line 2 hours, for resolve issues with slow and dropping internet. Nothing heard back from them. No complaints at all. The app is rubbish. When you try to go to My Account it tries to direct you to a non existent site! It takes you to a blank screen, and there you wait…. Forever. A refreshing change from Telstra’s performance at providing affordable and fast cellular WiFi. Thanks SpinTel. ### 3/5 — Crash Crash Crash *2026-03-30, version 1.0.3* I've rebooted my phone (17 Pro Max), deleted and reinstalled the app (iOS 26.3.1 (23D8133)). Can't get the app to open. It allows me to login, the thing spins around for a couple of seconds, then the app shuts down 🤷‍♂️ Not very helpful. ### 3/5 — App issues *2023-12-09, version 1.0.3* I won’t complain about the internet and its provider but its app is having issues which is showing me connectivity issues which is not handling network error and also there is spelling typo in the app. ### 2/5 — Very few functions *2026-04-17, version 1.0.3* Very slow for an app that does virtually nothing. It does at least work. I think it’s a bit weird that 2FA is required to log in like on the website, and it’s a concern that Spintel says “no data is collected” when clearly does is collected and transmitted for the operation of the app. ### 2/5 — Pretty basic app of not much use *2022-05-06, version 1.0.1* Its extremely basic app with no functionality. All it does is show you your consumption and that too isnt real time. Its off by at least half a day.
