## What is Spinzester?

Spinzester is a music-discovery app for independent and community radio.

Around the world, community-radio DJs hand-curate playlists that no algorithm surfaces — deep cuts, local artists, international releases, and genres the streaming services bury. Those DJs log everything they play on Spinitron. Spinzester turns those playlists into music you can actually listen to.

• BROWSE 350+ STATIONS — Explore what's spinning right now on independent, college, and other non-commercial stations across the country and beyond.

• PLAY IN FULL VIA APPLE MUSIC — Tap an album cover and the track plays, in full, right in the app through your Apple Music subscription. No previews, no hand-off to another app. Playback auto-advances through the rest of the show.

• SAVE WHAT YOU FIND — Export a show's playlist to your Apple Music library (or Qobuz) with one tap. Spinzester matches each track by its recording ID for accuracy.

• KEEP A HISTORY — Your browsing and listening history stays on your device, so you can always find that track you heard last week.

Spinzester is free, has no ads, and uses no trackers. In-app playback requires an Apple Music subscription. Spinzester is an independent app and is not affiliated with Spinitron.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-30

Fixes a bug where tracks could show "Couldn't find this track on Apple Music" for a week if a playlist was opened before Apple Music access was granted. Album art and Apple Music links now fill in automatically once you allow access.

### 1.0 — 2026-06-16
