No cards visible and absolutely no functionality on the free version. **Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the feedback. To clear this up: the full card database and compendium are completely free, so an empty screen is not a missing feature, it just means the card data did not finish downloading on first launch, which is almost always a temporary connection issue on the device. Fully closing the app and reopening it, or updating to the latest version (1.3.0), reloads everything. For anything like this the fastest fix is a short email to support@spiresage.app, where we answer directly and can solve it in a couple of minutes, which a public review unfortunately does not let us do. Happy to get you up and running there. ### 1/5 — AI Slop *2026-04-17* This app is a blatant low-effort cash grab. It promises “no hallucinations,” but it’s hallucinating in the app description! What is “blood magic”? Don’t download SpireSage under any circumstances. Watch a YouTube tutorial or something. **Developer response:** Hi Ice-Town, thanks for the honest feedback, and you're right to flag "Blood Magic." That phrase was a leftover from a pre-launch planning draft that slipped into the store description and it's not a real STS2 mechanic. The app's AI companion doesn't actually reference it and it pulls data from verified archetypes. I'm shipping an update this week. If you'd give it another look after the update, I'd appreciate it, and if something is wrong, please send a screenshot to support@spiresage.app so I can investigate it. ### 3/5 — Needs work *2026-04-18* Hey looks good. But latest patch happened days ago and it’s not updated? Or at least it doesn’t reflect it does. Some monster features are not explained well. Good effort. **Developer response:** Hey Riggs78, quick update: both fixes are now live. The patch detector bug is fixed, so v0.103.2 (and future patches) auto-import properly. The monster explanations also got a pass: the behavior prose is much more detailed now, especially on boss fights where it was thinnest. If you have a few minutes to give it another shot, I'd love to hear if it feels better. And if it does, an updated rating would genuinely help us a lot. We're a tiny team and reviews like yours are how we know what to prioritize. Either way, thanks again for the specific feedback. It's the kind that actually moves the app forward. ### 4/5 — Awesome *2026-06-23* What a cool app! Recently bought after I saw that it updated along with the game’s main and beta branches. The Spiro AI bot gives you a detailed breakdown of any deck you build and even suggests cards to include or cut in order to optimize your archetype. Highly recommended for any sts2 player! **Developer response:** Thank you so much for this, it genuinely made my day. SpireSage is a one-person project, so reading that the cross-branch patch sync and Spiro's deck breakdowns are landing exactly the way I hoped means a lot. The archetype optimization (suggesting cards to include or cut) is the feature I care about most, so I'm thrilled it clicked for you. I'm actively improving Spiro's reasoning and adding more depth every update, so it should only get better from here.
