Since today is July 4th and I wanted to read it. That text is not included. I just wasted 99 cents. Shame on you! ### 2/5 — Still no Declaration of Independence? *2020-07-15, version 4.0.1* The programmers recently updated this app, an app devoted to the Declaration of Independence, the life of its signers, events and topics surrounding the Declaration... but still no Declaration of Independence. It’s clear, from the programer’s reply to my initial criticism that my comment has been read, so given that he or she read my criticism and then released a version of the app still sans Declaration, I can only conclude that it was omitted out of spite. ### 2/5 — Bummed by misspelling... *2012-07-05, version 1.3.0* So, I bought this and the first thing I've noticed is the number of misspelled words. If I were from North Carolina I'd be upset! Run a spell check, update and this will be a 5! ### 3/5 — Educational but has issues *2018-06-26, version 2.1.0* Great idea and educational tool but a few issues. First, app crashes a lot. Second, the quotes are great but sometimes you want a quote based on a category, ie is like a quote on patriotism or education. I just look in the category and see all the quotes relevant to that issue. That is more helpful than going through every founder to find a quote about a topic you want. ### 4/5 — Declaration of Independence *2021-07-05, version 5.0.1* Deleting app. When this app actually includes the Declaration of Independence, I’ll have it back on my phone. UPDATE: latest version does include the Dec of Independence. ### 4/5 — Nice app *2013-07-05, version 1.3.1* This app provides some great, in-depth information about the people and events responsible for the founding of America. I have learned a great deal about the signers through this app, and I would rate it five stars if not for a handful of inaccuracies and various misspellings. I haven't seen anything too major, but this app could definitely use some proofreading. Two examples: The app states that three Americans were killed in the Boston Massacre, when in reality five died. The title of the event "1776 Colonies to States" spells "states" as "sates." ### 5/5 — Love it! *2022-07-17, version 5.0.1* 🇺🇸 I absolutely love this app! 🇺🇸 It does the work of 3-4 similar apps, making them all but obsolete. But it doesn't seem to be working correctly anymore on my iPhone 6. Maybe something having to do with updates. ------------ UPDATE -------------- July, 2022 Works great now. I like the app. ### 5/5 — Very useful App *2014-04-14, version 2.0.1* This app works really well, and is great for referencing founding father quotes, their occupations, their writings and more. I like to scroll through their quotes and their occupations for inspiration regarding how to live my own life. The founders knew what life was all about, answering to the Creator and not the king...
