The platforming mechanics are a game breaker in the iPad version. There is a point early game that requires a mechanic to progress (reaching a high ladder at a museum) that simply doesn’t work. Same is true for another mechanic (fishing tuna). It’s another lovely game that just isn’t optimized for iPads. It’s a disappointment to leave it behind, but I was a little obsessed, so maybe it’s a good thing. lol. ### 4/5 — Cozy game *2026-03-24, version 1.5.8* Love this game in every way, I just had to take away a star because the graphics on iPad are awful. Storyline is amazing and I enjoyed the game mechanics. You have a bit of farming and crafting. You also get to customize where building/rooms/cabins go. It’s really everything you can ask for in a cozy game! I had no performance issues but was playing on an iPad Pro 13” 4th generation and with an Xbox controller. However there is a bug that I’ve seen has been around for a few years but it’s still here. SPOILERS. I can’t get the acetate for Beverly because i already opened the chests. I have opened all chests on the island and it’s not there. I have checked my inventory multiple times as well as the archive room and I don’t have any acetate. I’ve seen replies to other people online saying that it’s been fixed and it should just be in the inventory if you have already opened the chest prior to the quest but it hasn’t happened. I can’t move forward in the game without getting the acetate and I don’t want to lose my progress and start again. I will stop moving to either side when I’m in the air and will instead just slowly descend. No real hard direction until you find the quests area. Zip lining is literally so bad its haunting my dreams, it’s even worse when there are areas with CONSTANT zip lining and no safe areas. Meaning if you mess up the multiple zip lines once you’re BACK TO THE BEGINNING. I wish zip lining was its own button and that you didn’t instantly fly off. If you want to find a game that will make you cry (in the good way) then you should try Spiritfarer out. I love how you can pretty much go at your own pace and the visuals are absolutely stunning paired with the music. I sob hysterically when I have to say goodbye to a spirit, even when it was Giovanni’s time.
