## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — All you need is to use the app!

*2023-10-06, version 3.0.7*

Did anyone review the app before releasing it to the public? I’m truly surprised that a mobile app of this abysmal standard can actually make it to public usage.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2021-01-17, version 2.4*

Not good for ordering as well as providing payment details: takes forever

### 1/5 — really bad

*2020-09-12, version 2.4*

hard to use app. stuff doesnt make it to the cart...and when you have finishined you get a delivery time two hours away....when you can order on grab and get it in 45 mins.

order on grab about 10pct more but well worth it for avoiding the hassel.

### 1/5 — Worst Food Delivery or Pick up App

*2020-05-29, version 2.4*

Nothing short of the worst app experience I’ve ever used to order a large pizza. Slow, so many clicks, not intuitive, confusing... and when you order pick up, it then says ‘we’ll deliver your pizza soon.’ It’s as if they’ve never used the app themselves!

### 1/5 — Poorly designed

*2018-03-11, version 2.2*

Multiple crashes, very cranky payment portal and unintuitive ordering interface. I gave up have trying to order the same items five times. Definitely not worth the effort to make an order.

### 1/5 — Bad interface, cant track delivery

*2017-12-14, version 1.8*

Really bad interface with visa payment page - app will freeze upon payment so you cant even tell if order went through.

App also doesnt provide a good way for you to track your orders

### 1/5 — What are they thinking ?

*2016-03-31, version 1.7*

I think the Spizza App Developer must either think the general public has an IQ of Einstein’s or we love puzzles within our pizza booking app. I believe an app is supposed to make things easier, and when I tried ordering through their app (to enjoy the discount), I was faced with illogical steps, and process flows which seemed to have a life of its own. If not for the fact I’m being cheap and want the discount, I would gone to their website to make the order.

The first step of adding an item to cart is immediately not obvious. The quantity selection is way at the bottom, then you wonder where the add to cart is. Oh, its at the top right hand corner, which is usually reserved for a ‘view cart’ icon. Strangely, their view cart button is also their checkout button.

They seem to be very obsessed about asking me whether its for self collection or delivery, because Im faced with making that choice each time I add something to cart, and when I’m finally checking out. This app is perfect for those who are fickle, and need an app to constantly remind or ask them.

The Promotions section is another wonder of GUI design, you have to click a tick on the right side first to activate the discount, the key in stuff on the left. Decided to uncheck the box ? TOO BAD. It’s stuck there for good. Try ‘accidentally’ clicking the sense privilege card, you’ll find it frustrating to just go back to the previous page. U can’t just uncheck it, you have to click none.

This is a perfect example of an intern designing an app. The design looks like it was done by a photoshop newbie who just discovered shadows and inner shadows. Forget margins and standard font size. We’ll just RESIZE it even though it isn’t proportionate (Look at Edit Order and Confirm Details).

Why am I complaining ? Because I’m sure someone paid a pretty penny to Appsels Pte Ltd and they got an intern’s or noob developer’s work in return. This is what’s wrong with Singapore’s app developing landscape.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2013-10-17, version 1.1*

Crashes as soon as I try to add anything to the cart.

### 2/5 — Slow App, or Cannot Start

*2026-03-19, version 4.0.2*

Freezes on the Start scrn splash...

### 2/5 — Room for improvement

*2019-02-02, version 2.3*

In desperate need of an update. Doesn’t support new iPhone displays and not very intuitive, and doesn’t let you track your order. Payment page not great either. Please work on it.

Flexibility to call directly from the app and then find the location on the map is sooo... helpful. Can do it all in one place.

### 5/5 — Best restaurant app

*2013-03-23, version 1.0*

So easy to use. Graphics and layout make navigation simple. Haven't been to Spizza for a long time but think that is going to change now. Why don't more restaurants do this?

### 5/5 — Love Spizza!

### 5/5 — Nice app spizza!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-03-22, version 1.0*

Great app, very useful

### 3/5 — Works but needs work

*2015-11-21, version 1.7*

Interface is a little confusing at first, and isn't compatible with iPhone 6 screens and above which make up the majority of phones. You can get the order through but it isn't a pleasant experience.
