Then i got this app and their bird one aswell. This app is like pondlife but i like this app less. I get confused wether the fish are hungry or not and if i try too much it gives me a pop up to tell me the instructions again. Also i dont like all the talking with the turtle, its too much reading sometimes especially when its every goal you claim rewards for plus the long tutorial, it can be annoying and confusing **Developer response:** Thanks for trying more of our games and for the thoughtful feedback. Of course, this is when I have enough money to even feed my fish. I get better decorations but they take longer. I always run out of money and have fish waiting to be fed. That is my only complaint. So funny! I love sea/ocean creatures and to be able to have some on my phone is so fun! I’m currently studying marine biology and it’s fun to have some cute little fish with me wherever I am! I would really love to see some other water creatures though. It’s fun having the video snail, etc but I wish we could have snails, shrimp, octopus, and squid, and even more if possible! Until several days in there was an alert text box stating how some species of fish change gender, so be sure to check-in and ask what its current pronouns are…. I own real clownfish and am aware of Sequential hermaphroditism. This game uses an incredible survival adaption to normalize “gender affirming” terms. Very concerning if you unknowingly let small children play this. The first thing I did when I downloaded this game was to connect it to my Apple ID. I am fond of the Pondlife game by the same developer so I wanted to make sure everything was saved. I played until I was almost level 7 before I made my first purchase. For about 5 minutes no problem. Then my game restarted, and I was put back at the very start-even after trying to reconnect to my Apple ID. What a waste of phone space but more importantly MONEY. Please save yourself and don’t download this game. This is like the best game on earth and I also recommend you trying other games like Pondlife, Bird BnB, Bird Kind, Flutter, and Flutter, Starlight and Splash like complete it all. ### 5/5 — Another Runaway *2026-08-18, version 2.393* I’m new to the world of Runaway Games and to be honest I’m a big console gamer, but I recently got Hatch Dragon after seeing an add I liked on YouTube, and I immediately just fell in love with my tablet. I started right away to expand the world and collect as many different dragons as possible, I even spent some sleepless nights grinding events for more special dragons. Feeling this was truly a developer worth my time and money I went ahead and got ALL the Runaway games suggested in the Runaway info menu, and because I love the water I tried out the Pond and the sea next. So far none of these games has disappointed. While I definitely enjoy this game and the pond one, I am absorbed by the Hatch Dragon game. So I went digging into the reviews for a clue and saw a recent one star review whining about pronouns and not wanting their kids to learn parts of speech or something equally ridiculous. Thanks to that review, I’m re-downloading this game so I can see if this company is choosing inclusivity in such a volatile time and if they are, I intend to spend a few bucks so I can support their support of marginalized communities.
