It is a great tool to assist with her VPK curriculum. The games and repetition are just enough to make the lesson stick and hold my child’s attention long enough to get through BOTH lesson plans each time we log on. I absolutely love the report feature so I can see how my child is performing and share with her teacher to tailor her homework. With the help of Splash, my preschooler just did her state assessment and scored has having the literacy of a second grader. She loves playing the games, drawing, coloring and interacting with the characters. She starts every morning with the learning path and can earn privileges like additional screen time for additional learning paths she completes. I’ll just state the one issue that I have with it which is certain lessons not working or freezing within the app. This happens pretty often and kinda sucks because it feels like we’re missing out on the path that we are currently on. When I go into player profiles under settings it tells me my kids have the full subscription. If you are a company that cares, why do you refuse to not provide a lifetime subscription for special needs who are children forever? Did not send out reminder and charged my card. I had already paid $69.99 for an entire year!!!!!! We had been using it as members and it was recording my son’s scores….then this! I closed the app and went back in, and was able to find the section where it says, “ Restore purchases”. I clicked on that and it asked me to sign in again. Then it said my email is not in their registry! This has been so frustrating! I tried my private email, (though I don’t use it for anything subscriptions), and it wasn’t found. The only options I was given was to sign up…when I had already signed up months ago and paid $69.99! I tried the little chat bot but while waiting for the chat bot to answer, the screen timed out after 15 min. I unlocked my screen and my entire question that I had typed in was gone! I typed it again and didnt let the screen time out…all day, carrying the pad with me, until evening and still no answer!!!!!!!!!!!!! Horrible, frustrating, and costly experience! In preschool games there’s a pink creature and she’s SUPER CUTE there are purple creatures the same shape and there are a lot new games in the game zone. I love splash math when you get your stars after a game and go out of the activity to choose something else to play the weird looking green slimy creature stops me to put my stars in. This process takes about 20 seconds.
