Split my Fare took the initiative and contacted me to say in detail how I would be affected and offered me choices including a full refund as some of our journeys would be impacted. My wife had also emailed SMF about the situation and received prompt and helpful replies. So my experience of your customer service team has been totally brilliant . Thank you very much. Trainpal did the same split as this app did, and it came out 3 quid cheaper. So not sure though there is no booking fee on both apps. This app is charging more 🙃. I consistently find that I’m offered cheaper fares than on competitor sites, it’s easy to use and - as I travel quite a lot - I want all my tickets stored in the same place. The only fee charged is a proportion of the saving achieved from splitting tickets which feels very reasonable. I would love to see the app adjusted to enable people to opt out of a split ticket if they wish. When the saving is small and the train is likely to be busy, I want to prioritise keeping the same reserved seat throughout the journey.
