Also to add the option to open the link in the app if the user already has an account. The receipt recognition works great! It’s also good that people can pay with Apple Pay and pay their share with a credit card as well. Appreciate you using Split! ### 4/5 — Good app but not for USA *2026-06-25, version 21.0.0* It’s very easy to use but it doesn’t have option to add tip to the bill. ### 3/5 — Suggestions *2026-06-18* Was difficult to use for the first time. Should be a drop down to select group number and based on the group number you can select certain dishes to split evenly. Having a full, half, and third pay option is hard to calculate if you have a group more than 3. And then you select the half or third option it divides it from the total even if some else has already paid their portion. Overall the app is great for splitting evenly. The app should allow you to edit the item amounts when using the scan receipt feature - UPDATE - Developer stated they are actively working on this feature, while I can’t justify 5 stars 4 stars is fair.. also there should be an instant transfer option with a small fee is fine, both direct bank transfer and debit card transfer takes 3-5 days **Developer response:** Hi there, Thank you for the honest feedback, we really appreciate it. We were able to split a large party check within a matter of minutes. It continue to send me codes, and I am unable to type in the code or select the numbers when it pops up to be added from the message. It allowed me to create an account but will not allow me to get past the verification page to use the app. I’ve restarted my phone, removed and re-downloaded the app and it stays stuck there. Tried a few different times, nothing. ### 1/5 — Lacking *2026-06-12* This app creates more problems than it solves. The receipt scanning feature is highly inaccurate. Items are frequently misaligned, totals are incorrect, and in some cases the app completely rearranges the receipt. If you don’t carefully review every item, your split can end up being wrong. At that point, you’re better off splitting the receipt manually and saving yourself the time and frustration. The payout process is even worse. After cashing out, it took more than two weeks for my transfer to arrive. I ultimately had to contact customer support to receive money that should have been transferred weeks earlier. Had I not followed up, I’m not confident the issue would have been resolved on its own. To make matters worse, the app provides no clear confirmation that a transfer has been completed successfully. You’re left digging through your bank statements to determine whether your money ever arrived. Overall, the app is unreliable, lacks transparency, and creates unnecessary headaches. I would not recommend it. **Developer response:** Hi, we’re sorry for the frustration here and appreciate the detailed feedback. Receipt scanning accuracy can vary depending on the receipt format, photo quality, and item layout, but we’re actively improving this. We’re also releasing a new confirmation step in the next few days that will allow users to review and confirm their split before sending. Regarding payouts, some recent transfers were temporarily delayed due to a payment partner review. We communicated those delays through email and in-app notifications as transparently as possible, and all affected payouts have since been transferred. That said, feedback like this helps us continue improving the user experience. I’ll change my review or update once I receive the money ### 1/5 — No withdrawal?? *2026-06-05, version 18.0.0* I really want to love this app, in fact I love everything about it, but I haven’t received my first bank transfer from it even though it told me 3-5 business days. I submitted the withdrawal on May 29 and it’s June 5 and I haven’t received anything. Please fix!!
