Also no editing capability for basic video features like color, brightness, audio, etc. All in all, very basic and disappointing. $2.99 isn’t much to lose but I bought it with higher hopes than I should have had apparently. However, you can’t edit the videos so can’t ‘edit and ‘adjust’ the video in its frame like advertised. No filter option (although that’s neither here nor there) and it won’t let you save your video. Mine just comes up with ‘error in domain’ so I can’t even play it to compare it let alone save to my camera roll. Either I’ve got a dud (not likely) or this app was made by someone that’s definitely a beginner to say the least. Don’t waste your efforts on this one it needs work before it’s even advertised let alone charging people for it. ### 3/5 — Limited *2018-10-18, version 1.54* The app is very limited. It is overpriced. It just puts the videos together But there is no editing, cropping, adjusting time delay. Nothing. Just simple frames and screen formats. It does the job of 4 screens and it is more than the majority of other split screen apps for iPad. But it was not what I was expecting for 4,99 ### 1/5 — Can’t get vids to upload *2018-07-24* Could not get videos to completely upload. Kept getting the thinking (circle of death) icon which would never go away. Waste of money. ### 2/5 — Okay *2018-06-10* The only ways you can split the video is in halves, thirds, or fourths. You can’t change the location or size of the video or anything like that. If that’s all you need, it’s great but I would like to see a feature to move different videos around and shrink or grow them. ### 2/5 — Too basic *2018-04-12* For an app you have to pay for, this does not have enough features! It does the job and it’s easy to figure out but there is not editing software at all! You can’t even trim videos in the app. It would be nice to be able to sync videos up in the app too, which would probably be easy to do if there was a trim feature. I had to trim on my photo library and play a guessing game as to whether or not my videos would match up. They didn’t. I had to do it 4 times before I got it right bouncing back and forth between my photo library trimming and the app. Also, it was frustrating that I could only have square videos in landscape if I only chose to put two, rather than four, videos together. I wanted to be able to see the whole video but half was cropped out due to the mandatory shape. So it would be better if we could have that choice as an option too. ### 2/5 — Poor edition *2018-03-25* App doesn’t enables timing control between the videos, which makes pretty hard to sincronize thenm in the right timing. Definitely not worth the value. At least it should have a free version for testing. ### 3/5 — Good *2017-12-11* I like it but I would like to see cropping tools to help put videos in sync. It used to work great. However, the last few days when I process a video I get this rather severe error message. No office, no music apps, just what I’m guessing they get paid for promoting. All I wanted was a midi player and lyrics next to each other. Not worthy of money *2020-05-24* Impossible to edit the video and synchronize it with a split. In order to split pieces (dancing for example) you need to cut them first using other app. Why? Easy to use and very intuitive. The video quality of the resulting split screen video was excellent! I would like to see more split configurations added, such as 4 portrait videos side-by-side to make a landscape video. And as others have commented, it would be nice to be able to zoom in on individual videos or trim. But I can do that with the Splice video editor so I am able to do everything I would like between the two apps.
