## What is SplitFlap?

Ein Hersteller bietet nächstens ein Splitflap Board (Fallblatt-Anzeigesystem) an.
Um die Funktion bereits zu simulieren wurde diese App entwickelt.

Die App simuliert die reale Splitflap Funktion. 

Alle 132 Fallblätter werden einzeln 
angesteuert und geblättert bis das richtige Fallblatt ansteht. 

Für jedes zu wechselnde Fallblatt wird ein eigener Thread erzeugt.
Dadurch wird eine realistische Anzeige erreicht.

Ziel dieser App ist auch eine zukünftige Ansteuerung des realen Splitflat Board.

Wirklich schöner Ansatz. Aber es gäbe so viel Potenzial für mehr. In der jetzigen Version ist es mir zu umständlich, es wirklich zu benutzen oder länger damit herum zu spielen. vielleicht findet sich ja noch mal Zeit und Muße, es etwas zu ergänzen?

Worked twice, now it throws some kind of memory error in German that I cannot decipher. Resetting, uninstalling, nothing fixed it. Broken app, $$ down the drain.

Sometimes it plays an asked for quote after it runs the sequence. Had to use google translate to find the english control. Would like to change the reveal rate, not have everything change at the exact time. I’d pay more for that kind of control. I do like this idea guys, great job!

I can’t use it. Not able to write a custom text, not able to display board anywhere except app window. No settings for customize. I can only look at current time or random quote or test demo message on this board on app window. No any sense of using this app for me.

Not able to figure out how to write custom quotes, only able to use the built in quotes. Not useful for me.

Schöner Ansatz für das Vestaboard - leider noch sehr eingeschränkte Funktionen. Da das Board recht laut ist, sollte unbedingt eine Aktualisierungsrate eingebaut werden. Wetter Funktion hat bei mir nicht geklappt. Integration von div. Kalendern / Erinnerungen etc. nicht vorhanden.

Hey, I have an old iPad (mc775ll/a) running 9.3.5 and I really wanted this to work. But it doesn’t. So maybe it can just get tweaked so it’s usable.
On phone it’s only okay, would be good if it was “full screen” without the boarder and trying to look like the Vestaboard on my screen. Would be great to integrate cycling through -> message -> time -> weather..... 

really be great if it could receive a message externally somehow or pull from FB.

Obviously it’s a start, and nice flap designs, but I can’t really use it without working on an iPad. Help.
