Everyone has to download the app 1st than one should add the money. Also deleting someone expense from group is not easy. Need improvement. After adding all expense you will still not be able to find how much money they will pay to you if multiple pepople have paid for the same trip. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, Ankur! Just to share - everyone doesn’t need to download the app, expenses can be deleted with a single tap (and even undone), and you can check who owes what in the “Balances” tab of your group. Really good app if you want to split bills ### 3/5 — Doesn’t fit for travel *2024-11-25* Amazing app design, interactive UI but doesn’t fit for travel, it doesn’t have the basic feature like support of multiple currencies, if we have to split the bills obviously there will be multiple currencies involved, glad that the app is from India, but I think developers need to work on this first, only reason for uninstalling the app. Hope they work on this soon! ### 4/5 — Feature Request *2024-10-27* I am a premium user of splitkaro, and it has been a great experience till now. Would be great to have recurring expense addition option and a copy expense option across groups. It will split the expenses and give correct contribution. Unlike other apps, this app makes the unequal itemize splits hassle free. I want to prevent myself in using calculator or manual calculation while splitting bills and this app makes my life easier. The UI/UX of this app is really easy to use. Thank god it got launched in the US. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Became greedy just like Splitwise *2025-10-09* This app started as a good alternative to split-wise who became greedy and starting charging insane amount for subscription to update any data. Splitkaro came as a saviour but after initial one month of use they are locking everything all things start getting restricted and i believe soon it would go down the split-wise way and will restrict everything and loose all its customer base who will just find an alternative similar to how people switched to them from splitwise. You can’t check how much you spent in a month and you can’t check how much you have spent per category. Going to uninstall soon. ### 1/5 — The Worst App *2023-11-17, version 4.1* The app is the worst you can expect. I’ve lost thousands due to this app. It crashes every month and the app has huge data losses and you’ll never get to know what was the balance you owe or what others owe you. Please use some other reliable apps and definitely not this one. ### 2/5 — Slowly Everything is going behind a paywall *2025-10-26* This app used to be my one of the go to app when it came to splitting costs among friends. But slowly the basic features like looking at my total share is a premium feature. I get that you need money to run the app, but at least keep the basic features available or give access to lifetime membership. Point noted on the lifetime membership — we’ll discuss it with the team! ### 2/5 — Error in loading Blinkit Bills *2024-08-13, version 5.5* Rest all app bills like Zepto, Zomato, Swiggy are working fine and showing their bills in the app. But Blinkit apps are not loading in your app. It’s strange. I don’t know why. It was working few days back. But now it’s not. I couldn’t able sign in. After giving the phone number I couldn’t able click the arrow/submit button, the number keypad is covering that button and also there is no enter key in the keypad, so o couldn’t progress to the next page ### 3/5 — good alternative to splitwise but with some ux issues *2026-04-04* Pls cleanup the overall design of the group and add expense screen. I got so confused on add expense screen. Took me 5-10 mins to understand what’s going on there. It should be super simple Top emphasis should be on enter amount then what is it for. They’re prompt, responsive, and understanding. This is why I prefer smaller companies.
