## What is splitlobby?

splitting the check shouldn't take longer than the meal.

one person at the table scans the receipt. everyone else opens a link and taps what they ordered — no app to download, no account to make. splitlobby does the math: tax and tip split fairly, shared plates divided the second someone else claims them, every number adding up to the penny.

HOW IT WORKS
— scan the receipt with your phone. splitlobby reads the line items right there; nothing to type.
— send the link. your friends open it in their browser and tap what they had.
— watch it settle. shared dishes split live as people join. your share updates as you go.
— lock it. the receipt "prints," and everyone gets a clean number and a tap-to-pay handoff.

your share is now your real share. while people are still joining, tax and tip only count your part of the bill instead of piling the whole table's onto whoever claimed first.

expecting people? add them before anyone arrives and claim items on their behalf. when they open the link they just tap who they are.

tipping got easier — 18/20/25% or your own number, right where you'd expect it.

fix a receipt without starting over: edit an item's quantity, mark it shared for the table, or add a line you forgot, all without resetting the lobby. you can even fix a price after locking.

settling up no longer requires a venmo account, and what you've paid sticks around.

plus a quieter connection banner, faster host edits, and a pile of small fixes.
