## What is Splitright?

Split expenses with friends, roommates and family. No account, no ads and no subscription.

One person creates a group. Everyone else joins with a six-character code or scans its QR code. Add who paid, how much and who shared each expense.

SPLIT EACH EXPENSE YOUR WAY
• Equally, when everyone shared it evenly.
• By shares, for splits such as 2:1 or 3:1.
• By exact amounts, when each person owes something different.

Use a different split for each expense, whether you are sharing rent, groceries, dinner or a vacation.

SEE WHO PAYS WHOM
Check each person's balance and use the settle-up view for a clear repayment plan. Record a payment after it has been made. Splitright does not move money: pay each other by bank transfer, cash or your usual payment app.

43 SUPPORTED CURRENCIES
Add expenses in 43 currencies. Convert mixed-currency expenses at settle-up, using saved exchange rates where available. The app shows the rates used; older expenses without saved rates can use current rates.

KEEP YOUR GROUP ORGANIZED
• Keep separate groups for home, trips and other shared costs.
• Search expenses by description or filter by who paid.
• Archive a group when you no longer need it in your active list.
• Use Splitright on iPhone and iPad.

NO SIGN-UP — SHARE THE CODE WITH CARE
There are no accounts to create. Shared group details are stored online, and anyone with the group's code can access that group. Only share it with people you trust.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6 — 2026-09-29

Improved Swedish support, expense-date handling and keyboard layouts.
More reliable saving and clearer multi-currency settle-up calculations.

### 1.5 — 2026-09-01

Split a bill unevenly: choose equal shares, weighted shares (2:1, 3:1) or exact amounts per person. Amounts now use your device's own number and currency format, with 43 currencies supported. The app is fully translated into Swedish. The home screen leads with creating a group, so it is clearer what to do first.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-26

Invite people to a group in one tap. The invite now carries the group code, the install link and a plain note about who can see the group.

Search your expenses by description, and filter them by who paid.

Share a summary of balances and settle-up transfers to your group chat. The summary never includes your group code.

Better layout on iPad and large screens, and a currency rounding fix so balances and settle-up transfers always add up to zero.

### 1.3 — 2026-08-24

Splitright is refreshed for modern iOS.

• Restored crisp icons throughout the app
• Improved VoiceOver labels and control accessibility
• Updated app foundations for smoother, more reliable expense tracking

### 1.2 — 2024-09-22

Bug fixes
