## What is SplitSmart?

SplitSmart scans the receipt, splits the bill in seconds, and helps you collect from everyone. Snap a photo, tell it how to split, send each friend what they owe.

SCAN ANY RECEIPT
Point your camera at a paper receipt. SplitSmart's AI reads every line item, tax, and tip — no typing. Works on restaurant checks, grocery slips, bar tabs, and rideshare receipts.

SPLIT BY ITEM, NOT JUST EVENLY
Drag items to people, split a shared appetizer, mark whose drinks were whose. Or split the whole tab evenly — it's two taps. Tip and tax are calculated proportionally so no one over-pays.

NEW: SETTLE UP
After the bill is split, tap Settle Up. SplitSmart shows you exactly what each person owes the payer and gives you a one-tap Request button per person. Pre-filled message, ready to send through Messages, WhatsApp, email — whatever you use. Or share the whole summary card to the group.

NATURAL-LANGUAGE SPLITS
Type "Sarah had the salad and half the wine, John paid for the dessert" and SplitSmart understands. No menus, no taps — just describe the split.

DESIGNED FOR IPHONE AND IPAD
One subscription covers both. iPad gets a full sidebar layout. iPhone gets a fast bottom-tab flow built for the table.

SplitSmart is free with 3 receipt scans per week. Pro unlocks unlimited scans, more saved groups, and larger group sizes:

Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID and renew automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID settings. Any unused portion of a free period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
