Super basic and easy to play. However it gets a little too complicated. The only reason I would say this is because you only get three shots and then you have to redo one. Or reverse it which ends up being a huge risk. I only wish that that rule didn’t apply. I’ve waited 5 minutes still nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing. Restarted. Nothing. No matter how it’s lined up the critter is acting like there’s a barrier that it can’t cross. It was a blast up to this point. ### 3/5 — Good but messy *2022-04-06, version 1.3* It’s a clever concept with some nice level design ideas that gets more complex over time. My main problem is that the deterministic pathing of the critters doesn’t jive well with the sometimes messy platforms that result from the cuts you make. I lost count of the number of times that I was one millimeter off from the correct cut location and a tiny little snag in the ground kept me from walking the little guys forward. ### 3/5 — A confusing mess with little in the way of a tutorial. *2021-12-17, version 1.3* Nice graphics, but as a 41 year old who’s been gaming Almost 35 years, this is NOT easy to pick up and learn. You don’t even tell the player the goal (get the critters into what looks like a serving platter at dinner time). Really make this more approachable. ### 3/5 — Excellent idea *2021-12-12, version 1.3* The game has an excellent mechanism, until level 24. What starts out as a pure strategy game is thrown away by the introduction of timing and rotating platforms. I assume the only way to make the game harder is to do this sort of thing. But there are many strategic games that have hundreds of levels that don’t resort to this. PS they’re not critters.
