## What is Splitty?

Splitty makes splitting group expenses effortless. Start a trip, invite friends with one link, add what everyone spends, and Splitty does the math, who paid, who owes, and a short list of payments that clears everyone.

Your friends do not need to create an account: they join with a tap. Track a shared kitty, log who fronted what, split bills equally or with custom amounts, and settle in seconds.

FEATURES
- Passwordless sign in, just your email or phone
- Zero-signup guest join with a shared link
- Group kitty, fronted expenses, and personal charges
- Split equally or by custom amounts
- Multi-currency trips with live rates (Pro)

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.11 — 2026-08-14

Trip World is rebuilt as Route Run, a clear 3D journey to your trip landmark. Switch lanes, collect 3 gold map fragments, avoid red luggage, and reach the finish with a heart remaining. Sound cues, reduced-motion support, clearer scoring, retry controls, and translations across all supported languages make every route easier to understand and more fun to replay.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-08-14

Trip World now feels alive with deterministic lighting, weather, procedural flora, and animated coast water. This release also improves performance, battery behavior, reduced-motion support, and overall reliability.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-08-11

The day planner is a lot easier to use.

Pick a part of the day, then an hour, then a minute. The hour list only offers that part of the day's hours.

Times now read in your phone's own 12 or 24 hour format.

Moving a stop to a different part of the day no longer leaves the old time behind.

Editing a stop opens on the day it is actually on.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-10

The day planner is a lot easier to use.

Pick a part of the day, then an hour, then a minute. The hour list is scoped to the part of the day you chose, so you are not hunting through all 24 to find 3 PM.

Times now read in your phone's own format, 12 hour or 24 hour, and you can still type one if that is faster.

Moving a stop to a different part of the day no longer leaves the old time behind, so nothing reads "Afternoon, 9:00 AM" any more.

Editing a stop opens on the day it is actually on, and dragging one keeps it where you dropped it.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-09

Every number now tells you where it came from.

Settle Up has been rebuilt. Tap any balance and Splitty shows what you paid, what your share was, and anything already repaid, as one plain sentence. Before you record a payment, you see exactly what it changes and what is left afterwards.

Also in this update:
- A large total no longer breaks across two lines when a repayment is recorded.
- A trip where everyone is square says so, instead of a sentence that contradicted itself.
- Activity reads as a story rather than a log.
- Arabic and other right to left languages lay out correctly throughout.
- Colour and type follow one published design system across every screen, including the trip report.
