Now it seems that they’ve made to process of adding an account or card very convoluted with a third party company. ### 2/5 — Making payments outside of Splitwise *2026-09-02, version 26.8.1* I made a payment outside of Splitwise. It is so useful when you are travelling with friends and want to share the costs of group activities. I love the ‘simplify debts’ function. We cannot manage without it. Recommend 100% ### 4/5 — Where has this app been all my life *2026-08-27, version 26.8.1* Planning a celebration party, we were initially using a spreadsheet to log in our costs which we’d still need to send out multiple payments to various payees - until someone suggested this app which I’d personally never heard of before. We eliminated 18 additional payment transactions with the simplify debt option. The app itself however needs some work. Initially, and as a new user it is confusing to understand and quite honestly the layout is terrible as it’s not very intuitive and hard to navigate. ### 2/5 — Make the interface better *2026-08-27, version 26.8.1* I don’t understand why if there are multiple people putting in expenses and you hit the settle up option, it assumes you’re paying the entire sum to whoever put in the last expense. If you click on the line for a specific expense it only takes you to the detail page and you can’t pay the expense through there.
