Get a JSON error or something. Useless. ### 1/5 — Error message when logging in *2019-03-20* I downloaded the app but I always get an error when logging in. Any tips to get passed this?? ### 1/5 — 4th grade quality *2018-11-27* Really want to love this app as it’s great when it works, which is about 3% of the time. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled countless times. Just really troublesome and poor Thank goodness they’re not the ones contacting emergency response ### 1/5 — Was a great app and then quit working *2018-11-17* This was an excellent news app, but (as my title states), it quit working all together in that it quit giving notifications and news when the app is opened. Bottom line: I’m glad I did not pay real money for it and instead got the free version. ### 1/5 — I was so excited *2018-10-03* I don’t have Facebook, so I was extremely excited to see that Spokane News had an app that I could use instead to follow all that was going on, but it’s just not ready yet. I received at least 7 notifications about a fire on Argonne, 4 of them coming one minute apart at 11p. A message pop up said I’d be sent a link to my email to verify my email address and then I’d be able to log in... The link never came even after several attempts of trying again... I finally gave up and when I tried again this morning, a new message popped up that said invalid credentials... I deleted the app... it shouldn’t be this hard... **Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to write this review. We are still in our soft launch period and still fixing any and all issues. Your review is right after our initial release and we had a huge issue with that email link. Facebook sign in worked great. User name is the email you signed up with. We approved every account without using the link and have since removed the link verification altogether. Since your review we have updated many issues and the app is running very well. This app is a total waste of time.. I put one star because that’s the lowest but it would be zero if that was an option. Don’t waste your time! **Developer response:** That app crashed right after creation. We hope to have a new version soon. When ever I scroll down to reload it shuts down. Fix your app. I like the idea of Spokane news because it’s soul purpose is to post what is heard on scanner and I refuse to go back to Facebook just for Spokane news. ### 1/5 — Isn’t working. JSON error *2020-05-23* Like the app when it is working but constantly have problems seeing posts. This time I’m getting JSON cannot be serialized because for at is not correct. No way to contact the website even because of this error. ### 1/5 — Can’t get past the login screen. *2020-05-14* Error messages when I try and register a new account or when I try and link my Facebook. Can’t sign up or link so it’s functionality useless. Oh well. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work anymore on iPhone 7 *2019-09-22* Used to work great but now just will not show any news stories. ### 1/5 — It does nothing *2019-09-03* So far I haven’t seen one notification, or post. Somehow I was dumb enough to pay for premium membership, and still there is nothing. I can use it to open marketplace, and listen to the scanner. I already have a scanner app. and can access marketplace through FB. The new update is cool. ### 5/5 — Worth downloading for notifications *2019-03-09* The app itself needs some work aesthetically and there aren’t as many comments as seen on Facebook, but the notifications are fantastic, worth five stars...and honestly, a bit addicting! Received e-mail but verification link doesn’t work 10/12/18–Received rapid email from developer and they were well on their way to resolving the issue. Since then the app has worked flawless for me.
