You can’t schedule which days you are available so I have to reset my availability every single week. I can’t just make the settings show me as available on the three days I work. I have contacted to see if it’s something I am doing wrong.. but no, this basic function is just not available. Why not spoke? I will say they do have good customer service and did contact back when we tried to fix something else. But please- fix the availability options- it seems like a really basic thing? No more missed calls or bad phone lines, and we can transfer calls to one another even if we are out on the road. Now this may not sound ideal or some could be judgmental but things happen to all families. My son unfortunately came into some wrong crowd and trouble and has found himself incarcerated . This spoke app has been our means of communication.words can’t say how grateful our family have been to be able to atleast have contact daily and a very small cost. This is only my story but I’d imagine for anyday use. Also travelling it’s the way to go. I thank you for making this app SPOKE . For you allow me to daily hear my sons ok. Your sincerely. ### 5/5 — Good business phone system *2018-04-05* Finally a fully feature business class phone system, right inside your mobile phone. Way more capability that the cheap voip apps that offer a business line. This is business grade. Multiple teams, offices, call routing, etc. and it’s all easy to setup - no training required, my assistant did it. Gotta check this out. We are glad that our product is exceeding your expectations and supporting your business in the way it was designed. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Costing us sales, unreliable at best *2026-07-08* Update: We’ve been using the app another month longer and our frustration has grown. Spoke is spontaneously marking some users as unavailable without their input which stops sales calls from coming in, but these calls are also not appearing on any missed call log and cannot leave voicemails when the app does this. On our end, there is absolutely no record of any attempted outreach from customers but we’ve had some of our customers that were willing to send us screenshots of their own call logs just to inform us of the issues we were having with Spoke. Our only window into this problem has been the customers that have driven to our store to let us know that their calls aren’t going through and that nobody has called them back for days - there is no telling how many other customers we have lost to this lazy, amateurish platform. Original review: I respect the things that this app tries to do, but it doesn’t actually succeed in any of it. The biggest offender is that notifications are extremely unreliable and oftentimes do not pop up until the app is opened, and they do not reliably sync across multiple devices, which makes customer contacts easily missed. Sometimes old notifications don’t appear until the app has already been opened for several minutes, when the notifications should have been pushed to all devices logged in on the account hours earlier. Notifications also don’t clear across multiple devices, and if I am sending messages to a customer on one device my own message will often appear as a new notification on another, so I have to constantly go across my phone and two tablets to re-read all messages (including ones that were sent by me) to manually clear the notifications on each device…I have never once seen an app with notifications/background app refresh broken so badly. Call quality is mediocre at best, almost always with a very pronounced lag that makes conversations with customers clumsy and difficult. The app oftentimes has trouble refreshing, with a banner appearing at the top citing “no internet connection” when there is an established connection and all other software is running fine. All in all, this software feels like a lowest bid option that is just cosplaying as its more reliable and functional competitors. ### 1/5 — Not Great *2024-05-01* 1) I can’t copy numbers from the app to paste for Notes for work 2) I can’t listen to voicemails on speaker, I mean really? 3) I can’t label numbers, make contacts or delete calls where no one picked up ### 1/5 — Terrible functionality *2023-04-25* Busy status doesn’t guarantee that calls won’t reach you. Calls that are transferred from one group to another sometimes bounce back even if the other group has agents available. Your offline settings sometimes undo themselves, forcing you to manually review them every now and then so you don’t get calls on weekends or during your offline hours. Our entire team gets kicked offline at 6 pm despite our evening crew having their availability including that time. There are so many problems with this platform that I would recommend absolutely anything else instead. ### 1/5 — Buggy *2023-01-29, version 7.15.0* Even when I have full wifi the calls are muffled and can barely hear each other. I was about to give up until I discovered Spoke. Honestly, I thought it would be expensive and difficult, but the setup took just one click, everything connected automatically, and the system worked right away. The app is lightweight and easy to use, calls are high quality, and SMS was simple to activate with their instructions. It runs smoothly with no issues, and I can work directly from my phone without being tied to a computer. I rarely write reviews, but Spoke really impressed me. It’s a simple, reliable, and well-designed product that integrates perfectly with Twilio. Having the ability to record all calls, highlight 30 second snippets and transcribed call follow up notes allows my ‘on the road’ sales team to take customer orders on a recorded call and send to our internal sales team for processing and confirmation. I’ve been able to report back to the board that we’ve seen a 22% increase in sales revenue compared to this time in 2019. Call notes are fantastic for memos. External contacts search and auto-matching is awesome, loving this!
