## What is Spokn?

Spokn is a voice journal for the moments your thoughts move faster than your thumbs.

Tap record. Talk about your day — for thirty seconds or twenty minutes. Spokn transcribes your voice on your iPhone using Apple's Neural Engine, never sending audio to the cloud. Then it gently turns your words into something you can return to: a mood score, the themes you keep circling, and one quiet question to take you deeper.

It's journaling without the friction of typing — and without giving up your privacy.


WHAT MAKES SPOKN DIFFERENT

• On-device transcription. WhisperKit runs OpenAI's Whisper model locally via CoreML. Your microphone audio never leaves your iPhone. Full stop.

• Gentle AI reflection. Only the transcribed text is sent — anonymously, authenticated with Apple App Attest — to Claude (Anthropic's AI) for analysis. No identity, no audio, no tracking.

• Private iCloud sync. Entries and insights live in your private CloudKit container. Nobody — including us — can read them.

• Four reflection styles. Stoic, CBT-inspired, Gratitude, or Spiritual. Spokn adapts the tone of its prompts to how you want to think.

• 99 languages. Whisper handles English, Indonesian, Spanish, French, Japanese, Mandarin, Arabic, and more. Auto-detect or pin a language.

• Weekly insights. See your mood trends and recurring themes in the Insights tab. Spot the patterns you couldn't see day to day.
