## Newest reviews (4 of 24)

### 1/5 — No good

*2017-03-24, version 2.5.1*

Take forever to load

### 2/5 — It's a mess

*2017-03-21, version 2.4.7*

30% proper selfies
30% photos of actual children or toddlers (eww)
30% nonsense like photos of torsos, coffee cups and a squirrel.
UI is super confusing- this app is cruising for disaster.

### 1/5 — Alternative logins

*2017-03-21, version 2.4.7*

I get fed up when app developers are lazy and require social media logins, how about at least an alternative?

### 1/5 — Dont waste your time

*2017-03-20, version 2.4.7*

It does not even open. Test it before you upload it :)

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Broken

*2021-05-04, version 2.5.15*

Won’t log in

### 1/5 — App not working

*2019-12-15, version 2.5.15*

The app doesn’t let you past the login, it just states the app is not set up?

### 1/5 — Won’t let you use it. Gives an error message

*2019-06-07, version 2.5.15*

Don’t waste your time

### 1/5 — This app is no longer working

*2018-07-27, version 2.5.15*

It doesn’t work anymore, it says it’s still in development. But it was great when it worked

### 1/5 — Not an app

*2018-07-17*

This is just a sign in screen with no features whatsoever. You have to options to sign in,Facebook and VK. The Facebook login option is just a misleading waste of time. There is no such option and the VK login doesn’t work. If you like logging into apps that have literally nothing to offer at all, this apps for you.

### 1/5 — Gotta be fake

*2018-04-18, version 2.5.15*

So I read another review where the person kept getting same ratings so they put a picture of a wall up and yep same rating too. So I tried a similar thing where I put up a pic of a lake with no people in it whatsoever and yep got same rating. Definitely fake

### 1/5 — Very poor

*2018-01-13, version 2.5.14*

The app currently isn't working at all. No pictures will load for rating and I have received no contact from the developers despite contacting them. This aside, Spontana is still very questionable. If you post the same picture five time you'll get five drastically different rating. There needs to be a larger amount of eaters per picture. The app also encourages lying because the only way to get a good accuracy rating is to rate everybody 8's and 9's regardless of looks. Very dissatisfied in a good concept but poor execution.

### 1/5 — App might be fake

*2017-12-31, version 2.5.14*

I was getting consistently high emoji scores on every photo so I got suspicious and uploaded a picture of a wall. The wall got an 8... out of 10. On top of that I was getting the same people rating the photos consistently hours apart from each other. It’s also strange they don’t let you view anything besides the photo of the users that rate your photos where in the podium they let you view the social media pages of people you never even rated, messaged, or were rated by, but for some reason you can’t for the people who rate you? Very strange.

Tl;dr people consistently rate me with the same emojis whether it’s a picture of me or of my plain white wall which leads me to believe this app is in fact fake. So either the app had fake “accounts” rating you or nobody understands the value of the emojis and they need to switch back to numbers.

### 1/5 — Software bugs

*2017-04-13*

Won't let me upload any pics

### 1/5 — doesnt work

*2017-03-27, version 2.5.2*

crashes on launch. No update has fixed it.

### 5/5 — Top

Загрузил фотку своей девушки – попала в топ :)

### 4/5 — Hi

*2017-06-02, version 2.5.7*

Interesting

### 4/5 — Great concept, clunky app

*2017-03-22, version 2.5.0*

I love the concept of this app, but the way everything is laid out is not very intuitive. A bug I noticed is that I'm being listed as from the Hawaiian Islands but I'm from the USA. Hiding access to the main screen under a menu is slightly annoying. Only being able to see a small portion of a person's face when rating them makes it more-often-than-not necessary to open their profile, exit out, then rate. Keep it up, Just focus on ease of use!

### 3/5 — Developers indecisive

*2017-08-11, version 2.5.9*

I appreciate that the app is getting updated but it seems like it has changed concepts since it launch. With the new concept i think advice/ratings would be more impactful if theyre from people in your region as different regions have different senses of style.

### 2/5 — Rating system is terrible

*2017-08-27, version 2.5.9*

This app would work, if only it was using numbers to rate people like it's supposed to. It took me forever to even figure out that I was rating 5-10 with stupid emoji's that are not obvious! This makes me think that when people rate they're not using the idea of 5-10 but more like ok here's a slightly smiling emoji that feels like a 7 or 8 to me. It just doesn't make sense to use emojis on something like this just so you can try and stay relevant with the kids now days

### 2/5 — Was great before the emoji change

*2017-07-30, version 2.5.8*

The app was pretty cool when numeric score was given for photos. Now it's fairly useless as it's difficult to judge the score of each image, not many people use it as a result and it takes too long to get any result.

### 2/5 — Bring back the numerical ratings

*2017-07-12, version 2.5.8*

Used to be great but now the numerical ratings has been replaced by some dumb emojis. Most people can't even pick the right emoji for a picture

### 2/5 — Good idea, needs better developers

*2017-06-18, version 2.5.7*

Inconsistent ratings. To verify this, just look at leaderboards and charts. Model level people can be placed surprisingly low, whereas a person on the opposite side of the spectrum can be rated highly. Also, the large number of children populating the app (mostly from Eastern Europe) seems VERY creepy and suspicious.

Still, you will get a rating relatively quickly, but the accuracy of it is questionable. I'm not interested in the social features of the app as much as I am in getting a feel for how others see me unbiased. In this regard, with some fine tuning this app has amazing potential. I don't see anyone else developing something like this, which is surprising as there is undoubtedly a demand for it.
