## What is Spoolworth?

Calculator apps tell you what a print costs. Spoolworth tells you whether your side hustle is actually working.

TRUE COST, NOT JUST FILAMENT
Filament is one of six things a print costs you. Spoolworth adds what the free calculators skip:
- Electricity - print hours x your printer's real wattage x your local rate
- Printer wear - your printer's price spread over its working life
- Failed prints - a failure buffer so reprints don't eat your margin
- Multi-color purge waste - AMS jobs waste grams on every color change
- Your time - hands-on minutes at your hourly rate
- Consumables - glue, IPA, sandpaper, packaging

START FROM YOUR SLICER
Import G-code or a sliced .3mf straight from Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer or Cura - grams and print time fill themselves, multi-plate files included. You can also open a sliced file from Files or AirDrop and it lands in a quote.

PRICE IT TO ACTUALLY PROFIT
Set a markup and get a suggested price - with your real margin and break-even shown beside it. Selling on a marketplace? Pick Etsy, eBay, Amazon Handmade or Shopify and that platform's real fees are grossed up so you keep the margin you asked for - the app shows what to list at and what you'll pocket, net of fees. Etsy's flat fees stay editable, because Etsy charges those in US dollars wherever you sell.

Share a clean price card by Messages or email - your price, what it includes, and an optional valid-until date. Your costs, margin and fees never leave the app.

TRACK EVERY JOB
Save quotes as jobs with a photo, buyer and quantity. Move them from quoted to printed to sold. Costs are frozen the day you quote - later price changes never rewrite your history.

BRING IN YOUR ETSY SALES
Import your Etsy "Sold Order Items" CSV and your real sales history fills your jobs and dashboard. No account connection required.

KNOW IF IT'S WORKING (PRO)
A profit dashboard breaks down revenue, cost and profit by month. If a print line isn't paying for itself, you'll see it.

NEVER RUN DRY MID-PRINT (PRO)
Spool inventory tracks the grams left on every spool. Printed jobs deduct automatically - purge waste included - and you get a warning before a spool runs out.

QUOTE STRAIGHT OFF A SPOOL (PRO)
Pick the spool you'll print from and its real cost per kilo flows into the quote - then the job deducts from that spool when you print it.

HANDS-FREE WITH SIRI
"Log a sale in Spoolworth" and "How's my Spoolworth month" work from Siri, the Shortcuts app and Spotlight.

WORKS WITH YOUR PRINTER
Presets for Bambu Lab P1S, A1, X1 Carbon, Prusa MK4 and Ender 3 prefill wattage and depreciation. Everything stays editable, and you can add any printer.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No cloud sync. Your jobs and numbers stay on your device; purchases go through Apple. Pro users can export everything to CSV.

• Quote again: reopen any saved job on the Quote tab with its exact grams, hours and spool — repeat orders take one tap.
• Search and filter your jobs by name, buyer or status.
• Round prices to .99 or a whole number. The rounding is applied to the price you save, so your ledger matches what you listed.
• Archived spools can be seen and restored.
• Etsy import: a refund line is no longer imported as a sale, and a transaction that appears twice in one export is imported once.
• A job printed before its spool was chosen is now deducted from that spool when you attach it.
• New app icon and a fresh green accent.

• The Profit tab is yours from day one. Your real totals, your real month, and the chart's honest empty state — no sample data standing in for numbers you haven't made yet. Month-by-month history stays Pro.
• Onboarding now tells you what your printer costs per hour to run, worked out from the answers you just gave.
• The Jobs and Spools free-plan counters are always visible, so you know where you stand before you hit a limit.
• A warning when your hourly rate is still $0 — the fastest way to underprice a job.
• Settings adds a Rate Spoolworth link and shows the build number.
