## What is Spoon Manager?

Spoon Manager is an easy-to-use energy tracker based on Spoon Theory.

Check in on your energy each morning and night, record what you do, spot your patterns, and plan your day with confidence. Whether you're managing chronic illness, chronic pain, fatigue, ME/CFS, autism, ADHD, or anything else that affects your energy, Spoon Manager helps you stay in control.

It's a calm, native app for iPhone and iPad — no accounts, no ads, no tracking. Everything stays on your device.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• Morning & night check-ins. Each morning, log how many spoons you're starting with; each night, log what's left. See how your days really go instead of guessing — and catch a low patch before it becomes a crash.

• An optional pulse reading. Rest a fingertip on the camera for a wearable-free resting heart-rate check-in — a wellness reading, not a medical measurement. No watch or band required.

• To-dos that meet your brain halfway. Break a big task into small steps, name the first move, jot why it matters, add a reward, and estimate the time — with dates, reminders, and repeats.

• Habits, your way. Count-based or simple, shown as a visual heatmap with streaks that forgive a rest day.

• Routines. Run a morning or wind-down routine step by step, at your own pace.

• A daily journal. A calm space to reflect, with a one-tap mood check-in, "what shaped today" factors, gratitude, and a morning intention.

• Calendar. Day, week, and month views with your Apple Calendar — and, if you like, your Google Calendar — shown right alongside your day.

• Goals. Link the to-dos and habits that move a goal and watch its progress bar fill.

• See your patterns. Charts bring your energy, mood, and habits together so you can spot what helps and what drains you.

• Build-your-own home. Arrange and resize a dashboard of widgets, plus home-screen and lock-screen widgets for your spoons and your week.

• Make it yours. Color themes with light and dark mode, an optional Face ID lock, and journal export anytime.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Spoon Manager is built to need none of your data. There are no accounts, no server, no ads, and no analytics or tracking SDKs. Everything you create stays on your device. The one time Spoon Manager goes online is if you choose to connect Google Calendar — a read-only link that shows your events in the app and never sends your data to us.

Made by a small independent developer.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.3 — 2026-07-28

What's new in 1.1.3:

• Tap a Home Screen widget and it now opens the right place in the app — your events widgets open Calendar, your energy widgets open your dashboard.
• The week's-events widget is easier to read, with larger, higher-contrast text and a cleaner layout.
• Refinements and fixes across the Home Screen and in-app widgets.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-07-24

New in 1.1.2:

• Symptom & PEM tracking — log symptoms and how hard they hit, and spot the crashes (post-exertional malaise) after overdoing it, with a flare warning when things run heavy.
• Medication tracking — check off scheduled doses, log as-needed meds, and turn on optional dose reminders. Adherence joins your doctor report.
• New Charts tab — rearrange the insights you care about, with a new symptoms chart.
• Doctor report — export your spoons, sleep, mood, symptoms, medications and to-dos as a PDF and CSV to share at appointments.
• Energy forecast — see the next few days in spoons, projected from what you've planned.
• Edit from the dashboard — tap a goal, routine, or habit tile to edit it in place.
• Polish and fixes throughout.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-23

A bigger update than the name change — the journal, the charts, and the calendar all grew.

• Journal: write as many entries a day as you need, each one editable, with photos shown whole and dictation that keeps what you said
• Moods: pick a face or your own emoji, weight it 1–10, and see every one of them charted
• Charts: new to-dos and goals charts, habit counts in the heatmap, and your journal's moods over time
• Calendar: swipe left and right to move between Year, Month, Week and Day
• Home: a new Reminders widget, smoother drag-to-reorder, and widgets that start at the size they need
• Spoons: give a to-do or habit an optional cost, see the day's planned spend, and set your own morning and night check-in times
• A new app icon — and Health can suggest your starting spoons from last night's sleep

Everything still stays private, on your device — no accounts, no ads, no tracking.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-07-14

Spoon Manager is here — a warm rebrand of the app you know, now built around your energy.

• Spend your day's spoons on purpose, and pace what's left
• A rebuilt home dashboard with new widgets — including Goals
• Cleaner charts, calendar, and daily journal
• A brand-new app icon

Everything still stays private, on your device — no accounts, no tracking.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-08

A fresh look and a home screen that's finally yours.

• New app icon and a cleaner design, with alternate icon styles and a dark mode.
• Energy check-ins: log how charged you feel anytime, set a daily reminder, and watch your rhythm.
• New Charts tab: your energy, mood, charge, and habit streaks in one place — they fill in as you log.
• Personalize from home: a Color theme widget recolors the whole app in a tap, plus a Quick settings widget for icon, notifications, and accessibility.
• Every widget on your home screen by default. Press and hold to rearrange or resize, and tap any widget to expand it fullscreen.
• Add habits, routines, and to-dos right from the To-do tab.
• Fixed a launch-screen glitch, plus lots of polish.

Thanks for using chargd!
