The free Sport Aston app allows you to book courts, activities and classes at The Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre whenever you want. As well as bookings you can view our Pool, Sauna and Steam timetables and see the latest information and news. Basic functions of the app are either missing or not working properly. Registration process is repetitive and frustrating. At some point it says I can’t register because I have already registered and that an email is now sent to my now CLOSED Aston email! It was already a sport selecting from a drop down menu. It returned wrong error message saying the captcha was incorrect while the problem was something else. There were also grammatical errors. I’m sure I could add to this list but I’ve given up already and decided to go somewhere else. I guess this is what happens when there is no competitor around and Aston centre is sure they would have enough student customers ### 1/5 — Functions Need Improving a LOT *2021-07-23, version 5.5* 23/7/21 - currently the app is down since Monday. Would be helpful if users can top up credit on the app so that when it comes to booking that can be used if data security is an issue.
