It’s supposed to start a light show and play the goal song of my favorite team automatically. Once I opened the app and paid for the subscription (about $3 for the year) I was able to select my team. I pressed the play button and voila, a light show with my teams colors, a goal horn and my teams goal song. I couldn’t wait for my teams next game so see how the automated part of it worked. Be here is is, 4 hours before the game is to begin and the app says there is no game scheduled. I tried to email the developer of the app and the email address is not valid. This app could be perfect if the light show would start on its own after my team scores, or even if I was able to link the show to an external Bluetooth switch that I have that I used to use with some of my smart bulbs but is not collecting dust. So all in all, cool concept, and idea but a few tweaks could make it great. ### 4/5 — Great, but needs help *2024-01-12* The app works great and I love using it on game night. I’ve been activating it manually when a goal is scored, and the schedule hasn’t been updated in a while. I know life is different for everyone. I’d love to help if the developer extended hands. Would have also purchased the NFL version but after experiencing issues with the MLB one and the higher cost, I’ll refrain. Additionally it does not take playoff schedules into account. But during the Super Bowl we only had it work 2 or 3 times. It’s never on time, either a little late or too early. When it’s too early it’s gives the play away! So make the right play here and don’t get this. You have to pay for each sport subscription and I think it was $8.99 for the football. If you want basketball you’d have to pay additional for that. I had it set for both teams and I was watching on both cable tv and Sportsnet plus. The animation didn’t go off for a full minute after the goal. I thought maybe the cable tv was just faster than the app but even on sportsnet it was 45 seconds delayed. The puck was dropped for the next play before the lights went off. Highly disappointed. Never worked for regular season NFL games. Is not working for regular season NHL games either. Have also reported to Apple requesting a refund and to pull the app unless it gets support again. Anyone know if it is still an active app. I cannot add any teams at all ### 5/5 — Needs a off, final scene *2023-02-09, version 1.19* I would give this app 5 stars but it lacks a off mode for when the lights are not firing. I would also like to see if the hockey goal songs can be trimmed correctly to not just cut off in the middle of a sentence or song. But to either fade out, or use more of the goal song so it sounds more complete instead of just randomly cutting out. Another idea is for the Navy midshipmen goal song to include the cannon fired at touchdowns. Overall good app 4/5 Second is that the app NEEDS TO BE UPDATED with the Seattle kraken goal horn and lights UPDATE 2 btw amazing developer he has literally used suggestions we post and implemented them for that 5/5 stars But I now come with another idea, with the XFL season now on its way. I want to be able to celebrate teams scoring there as well. One team of note that already basically has a goal song is the dc defenders with them already having a full theme song on Spotify!
