The videos become segments, and I don’t know how to recover them for use in other capacities. I would love to speak to somebody in customer service to figure out how to get these segmented files to work. I understand that you need cell service or WiFi to be able to livestream. I don’t understand that when I don’t have cell service or WiFi that the app logs you out and you can’t log back in. Also this past weekend my kids had a volleyball tournament and I knew I wouldn’t be able to livestream so I would save to the device and upload later. The app didn’t save any of the 16 games that it said it was recording and saving to my device. Very frustrating thinking you’re capturing footage to find out it’s not there. También no utiliza el estabilizador que tiene Apple para grabar, así que los videos salen movidos. No desperdicien su dinero ya que no te regresan tu dinero, aparte de que pierdes tus videos no te resuelven nada en soporte técnico y te comentan que no pueden hacer nada. ### 2/5 — Good before, not reliable now *2025-12-15* Used SportCam for indoor volleyball for over a year with no issues, but until recently. The livestream silently stopped after Set 1 with no error or warning, and we only found out after the match ended. YouTube recording confirmed only Set 1 was captured. What’s more disappointing is the customer support response. Instead of acknowledging a possible app-side issue, the explanations focused on shifting blame to user settings or external factors that do not apply to our situation (e.g. Do Not Disturb mode, copyrighted music, device capability). None of these were relevant, and none are documented as requirements in the app tutorials. We want to continue using SportCam, but reliable livestreaming and responsible support are critical. Until these issues are properly addressed, it’s hard to trust the app for important games. ### 1/5 — Inutilizzabile *2025-12-11, version 3.0.18* Da ormai oltre un mese ad ogni diretta programmata su YT in rtmp l’app puntualmente si blocca e la diretta si interrompe. Ho contattato piú volte l’assistenza ma senza risultato alcuno. Tutte le soluzioni proposte (modalità non disturbare, disinstalla e reinstalla, ecc..) non hanno funzionato ed ora da oltre una settimana non rispondono nemmeno più. Alla prima live durante i set sono saltati alcuni pezzi di partita e ha tagliato il finale di partita di buoni 15 minuti, a breve riprovo sperando che sia stato solo un caso isolato ### 2/5 — Love/Hate *2025-12-06, version 3.0.17* Brunswick High Sports Network has a love/hate relationship with SportCam. On one end, this is an incredible app that provides a high quality scoreboard that is pretty easy to use. The development team clearly cares about their product, as they have added a couple of great updates in the past year. A power play indicator for hockey is really nice, and adding a QR code for people to connect to remote scoring makes it so much easier. Remote scoring is an excellent feature, but back in the day you could only share your scoreboard to another device using AirDrop, which limited capability. Now for the hate: we can’t tell if SportCam is blocked on a number of high school or college WiFis or if it just has an inability to function on some of them, meaning that we have to use cell service to stream many of the games. The app was also just completely broken for a day last year and we could not upload a video or start a new stream. They ended up fixing it the next day, but we still lament losing the replay of that one game. And while the development team clearly cares about improving the app, I notice that they haven’t responded to a single one of the negative reviews that people have left on here. Finally, the app really is only useful with the $20 per month Pro version. I think this price is reasonable, I just don’t want you thinking that this is actually a free app. Overall I recommend SportCam for anyone wanting to stream games to YouTube or Facebook, just don’t expect all sunshine and rainbows. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Nothing but problems *2026-08-29* My subscription renewed in August. Ever since then I have had nothing but problems with this app. It won’t go live to Facebook even with good connection and approvals on the Facebook app. And it won’t save videos to my phone. It keeps pausing the recording while we are playing and the segments do not save to my phone. I have tried everything I can think of including freeing up storage, changing settings, deleting and reinstalling the app, all of the things recommended. At this point I have lost so much game footage that I now have to have a backup recording and I’m not able to live stream. I have no faith in this app. I’m ready to move on from it. Mejorar en si para que sea una mejor app y obviamente mantener los precios pero que valga 100% la pena adquirir la app y la suscripción durante el mes o anual, le falta una actualización también de agregar la repetición a las jugadas ya sea en cualquier deporte, en especial una transmisión de futbol ya que a veces pueden quedar dudas, con eso si o si sería una app excelente. Having the scores displayed is a huge step up from just recording on a phone or GoPro! This app would be perfect if it used the iPhone’s native image stabilisation though, as the small vibrations like ball bounces cause the image to shake slightly.
