I like that it integrates with Dash and that will definitely help when creating schedules and building rosters since you can easily sync the programs. It doesn’t pull everything but it’s simple enough for players families to input what is needed. I do wish they’d make it simpler to place events and practices on the schedule but there are some work arounds so I’m fine with it. It’d also be nice if there was an option to just skip building a visiting team roster since not every program in on their system I’ve had to do workarounds for that as well although I guess I could use a scoresheet and input the team but I don’t necessarily want to build every visiting teams roster. There are some things on here that are pretty cool. The live streaming and team scoring features are great. That said most people aren’t as tech savvy as I am so I can see how that would turn people away. I will say its not marketed for exactly what I need and I’m sure plenty of people would have the same concerns but if they get on it fast they could easily take all the current Team Snap customers. I think just having a practices option where you didn’t have to mimic a game entry could open up their market to people like myself that are managing in house recreational programs where you need to add practices, parent meetings, etc. I wouldn’t mind being able to set lines and create small group chats within the team so I could message just my coaches and managers but that’s not necessarily the end of the world. I’m quite literally just waiting for our director to decide what to do because they are hesitant to leave Team Snap but they honestly just haven’t seen how bad it is so I’m sure we’ll probably switch to this program soon. ### 4/5 — Good app, tracking with Adult hockey games *2026-03-26* It’s over all a good app I wish I could give it a 5 but a 4 is a go because some of the other orgs I try and find aren’t easy and when I’m trying to find games place to place I would have to tap and tap again where I can’t just navigate to the closest places so it’s like threw one and not just where I open the app but over all but if you play a fun sign up sport this is the app sports arena recommend for me and all Sportz ### 4/5 — New Game summary *2026-03-11* Wow! The new game summary is an ASI feature that provides a Madden-like recap complete with real stats and player names. It’s very cool. BUT, can the Dev team please backfill the start of the current season? It’s strange only a few games having a recap. Thabks! ### 3/5 — Line up *2025-05-22* App has some good qualities with stats and keeping of things. It’ll be helpful if the app has the ability to add hockey lines for the games. The app makes attendance check-in quick and easy, and we love the drinks assignment feature to keep post-game traditions alive. Team managers can edit rosters, update jersey numbers, and manage players seamlessly, which is a huge plus (even if it’s last minute). The team chat feature is also great for keeping everyone connected. The app is mostly intuitive and user-friendly, and our players and captains appreciate how everything is in one place. We use it for our adult league and the participants love how professional it looks. It makes signing in or up for anything involved, an absolute nightmare. I dread everytime i have to open this app. And the home page is full of nonsense that has nothing to do with what I’m trying to see. ### 1/5 — App *2025-06-10* Terrible layout. The layout is terrible. Scrolling games is in a tiny window. There is so much wasted space. You can’t see what’s happening at the rink unless you’re following a team or that league. You can’t see your games unless you’re following your team and then you have to refollow a new version of your team every year. Nothing is easy to find and the design is atrocious. I’ve never written an app review before. Congrats on making me hate it that much. We considered two programs, but Sportsninja was by far the best in our review. It is simple and extremely user friendly; quick to add goals and assists (no drop downs); penalties are a breeze; making game changes after the fact is easy and not an issue; exporting of data is simple; adding teams, logos, rosters, emails, etc. all very user friendly. We selected this software and have not regretted our decision, not even once. We have a league of 36 plus men’s teams. The support from Soortsninja is also very efficient and timely.
