Unfortunately, I rarely get to enjoy it since the app mostly crashes when I open it. Please fix the app SI! ### 1/5 — App broken *2023-05-02* Fix the app. It won’t open now for 2 weeks. I like the sports content but I can get my news other places I’ve given it long enough to fix. ### 1/5 — App crashes *2023-12-18* It’s amazing that in 2023, a developer can’t manage to at least make their app stable for a couple of months. Where most apps fix these kinds of issues immediately, whoever is maintaining this app for SI is taking their money and sitting on their couch laughing. The app either doesn’t load or loads and then immediately crashes. Love SI even through all their fits and missteps, especially their digital efforts. This app just does not work. Deleted and reloaded it a dozen times. Makes no difference. If it doesn’t kick you out immediately it will shortly thereafter when you try to access an article. Also, the content on the app is much more limited than on the SI website. As an example, I wanted to read about the NFL trades and in the website there was the Trade Deadline Grades but that was not readily available through the app. Same with other articles available on the website. Why is that? ### 3/5 — Favorite Teams? *2022-09-29, version 1.0.178* How do I add my favorite teams? ### 3/5 — Accessibility Concern, Contacting Support Failed *2022-06-06, version 1.0.178* While this app is certainly better than some other sports apps out there, it can't touch the Athletic, another service I am subscribed to for two reasons. first, while I am able to turn on the notifications, there is no way that is accessible to me as a blind person to be able to set up notification preferences at the team, league or other levels, which means there are no notifications. Second, to compound this issue, when I tried to submit a ticket, the built in email address for support came back as undeliverable. So I'll use this tool to hopefully get a message across. I am a baseball fan above all else and in addition to using MLB for baseball news, I like using other media outlets that are not Provda and that means SI, ESPN, the Athletics. Given some of the issues I'm having, if this is not improved, I'll aahave to cut SI prior to my renewal next spring. ### 3/5 — Where’s the iPad App? *2021-09-20, version 1.0.2* Great to see SI has tried to do an App again, but why no IPad app? Reading an iPhone format on an iPad is ridiculous ### 2/5 — The Constant Crashes Continue *2023-12-12* For multiple years now I’ve had the same issue other call out here, the app will just not load, or it will boot you out for no known reason. Restarts and reloads do not seem to matter. Then, it will just start to work again - You just never know for how long. Use at your own peril of insanity.
