It’s incredibly frustrating that, when using mobile, any entries I put in and then remove do not get fully removed. I am unable to fully remove entries on mobile once they are selected, and declining the event does not remove the event from the registration list. This is a minor and specific use case, but it would be nice to not have to lug a computer everywhere I go. ### 1/5 — Very slow *2025-08-22, version 5.8.1* Slow and confusing ### 1/5 — Attendance and Classes gone from “Calendar” tab *2025-08-14* Why would you take away the ability to see how many students are in a class on the "Calendar" tab? Speaking of the "Calendar" tab, why did you take away the "My View" option? Now I can't see the class schedule, what other classes are available, and if the class is full or not. These were the features I used the most on this app and now they're gone. One star. You should fix that ### 1/5 — Poor app *2025-07-31, version 5.5.6* They make it way complicated and when you need to cancel or change classes it next impossible also the help page is a joke ### 3/5 — Continuous buffering *2025-07-16, version 5.5.6* Trying to access the app for a few days now and it is continuously “Loading Data”. I can find no way of contacting anyone about this other than leaving a review. I need to accept a meet within a tight deadline so this is a major issue for me. ### 1/5 — Poor branding *2025-06-09, version 5.5.3* Sports Engine, Sports Engine Motion, Sports Engine Tourney and Team Unify.... This is the worst branding textbook failure I have ever seen! ### 1/5 — Crashes constantly *2025-05-01, version 5.5.0* Ugh it is always crashing and restarting. Impossible to use ### 2/5 — Poor design *2025-02-23* It’s clear that this app was pushed out without enough time or funding to make it a good app. First and foremost, switching back and forth from this app to another one and back—like you might when adding an event to your calendar—causes the app to reload, meaning you have to go through all the same menus and such every time. Really annoying! Second, when the team sends a notification through the app, you can’t see the whole notification without opening the app, and the messages quickly time out and disappear before you have time to read them. This app seems built to be paired with Team Unify, a.k.a. GoMotion, a.k.a. SportsEngine, and it’s just as user-unfriendly as those websites. The whole ecosystem needs a fresh approach with a stronger focus on UX and ease-of-use, not just endless rebranding. ### 1/5 — App crashes or closes every time I leave it to look at something else on my phone *2025-02-19, version 5.4.5* I keep having to wait for the app to reload after checking something else on my phone. It used to stay open but now crashes or closes itself. Not convenient for checking entries or best times especially. Please fix this bug! ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2025-02-08* First the app name is not searchable by “sports” or the type of sport my kid does. So I have to remember some gibberish name every time I use it. The app won’t let me login w my email. When I go to the se engine web site. It tells me to google the sports team provider. Really? Google it? Ok I found it and logged into the team portal no problem. I don’t see my kid. And going back to the app it still won’t let me sign in. You’d think all the smart people and professional UX people could figure out something that works. It’s 2025. Not 1995 ### 3/5 — Delays *2025-01-11* Imagine logging in at a swim meet (which takes about 30 seconds) to look up your kid’s time, switching over to any other app…then switching back over to this one and it taking as much time as the initial log on. Why does it have to do this or why cannot I have to option to turn off the refresh? ### 2/5 — Appl closes and you need to constantly reload the page *2025-01-08, version 5.4.2* The past few updates has not addressed the issue of the appl closing within seconds and then needing to restart from the beginning and find where you left off. ### 1/5 — Eats Battery *2024-12-20, version 5.4.1* If you don't force quit the app each time it will continue to run in the background draining your battery. ### 3/5 — Glitches and no fixes *2024-06-07* I keep running into glitches and my account rep just brushes us off. Can’t wait until they rotate him off our account. The app is convenient but it has lost us money due to errors in the system. Like this glitch we just found that if you apply a credit to a member and restrict it, they aren’t able to use the whole credit for some reason?? After a busy day on the deck I had to go in and manually do accounting work with the program. The account reps suggestion didn’t work and then he basically passed the buck and said to contact customer support which had no phone calls until next week. Convenient but problematic would be how I sum up this app. ### 1/5 — Horrible User Interface *2024-06-03, version 4.1.18* This app provides a horrible user experience. Was reported to developers over a year ago and it’s still awful. ### 1/5 — Credit card fraud *2026-07-10, version 5.17.6* This company charged my credit card 1340 dollars for a camp I never signed up for and which my child never attended. The reservation for the 190 dollar camp my child did sign up for was cancelled before it began. This is either complete incompetence or nefarious business practices. ### 1/5 — Fail *2026-06-17, version 5.17.3* This app is so hard to deal with. It crashes constantly and even has trouble logging in ### 1/5 — You ruined the app completely *2026-06-14, version 5.17.3* This app used to be great, but now it’s really messed up. I need you to fix these problems asap, because these problems didn’t exist when I used this app in the summer: 1. Time Conversion Tool broken now: Now whenever a time I put in and it ends anywhere in .60-.99, it corrects to .59, and that makes no sense. Same thing with .00-.09 except the problem is that it spits out an unrealistic time like 4 seconds or something short. This was my go-to swim time conversion tool until these difficulties were there. Additionally when I go into the best times and view my long course time history, every single one ends in .00, not the real time. So please fix these ASAP. 2. Team members’ birthdays no longer show: I used to go into the “MEET RESULTS” tab under a past meet, and when displayed by member, it shows a cake icon next to a swimmer’s profile if their birthday is today. I loved it because I could tell my team mate happy birthday if there was practice. But now when I go there, it says “No members match your criteria”. I am now no longer able to view who has a birthday the day I check results by member, please fix this problem ASAP. 3. Less aggravating but still needs fixing: The app used to stop loading data if I clicked the screen and asked if i want to stop loading data. Now it is not there anymore. My problem with this is that if my internet is slow, it is consuming my time and patience. Please fix too. These are 3 ways the app got ruined, I don’t know if there are more, but this app never had any those problems last autumn and I ask politely these problems are fixed as soon as possible. After auto-building a relay, when I try to sub in a swimmer the screen shows half white and half of what it is supposed to show - making it impossible continue. ### 1/5 — Continuous buffering *2026-03-28* Trying to update the app for a week! Keeps “loading” with zero movement!!!!! ### 1/5 — App not working right *2025-12-30* I used the app to sign up my son to his swim meets and now i can't see any events. This is happening only my and my son's phone. I've re-install the app, turn my phone off. Tried to send a message thought the app but the "send" option is all the way up in my screen, not working when press on it. Also the screen is black and blue, not white like others .
