I was able to connect the calendar directly with my phone calendar on iOS, and wow it was nice. Only four stars because I haven’t been explored the app enough yet, but that calendar feature was really helpful ### 4/5 — Dark Mode paywall *2026-06-21, version 4.6.1* This is an amazing app as a student athlete being in both band and soccer it is an easy way to keep up with any and everything that comes up between the two the only problem I have that doesn’t give SportsYou its full 5 stars is the simple fact that dark mode is being held behind a paywall. I get really bad headaches from looking at bright screens too long, so everything on my phone is on dark mode to prevent that, but going on SportsYou to get info that I need (And most of the time it’s really long paragraphs that I have to read through to get info I need) I get extremely bad headaches just because of the light mode. I would love love love if dark mode was pulled from behind the paywall for any and everyone to use ### 4/5 — Messages stuck on "loading" from notifications *2026-06-18, version 4.6.1* I have about 5 sports apps for my kids and this one is on par with the rest. I like that it allows for multiple groups and tagging roles (parent, player, etc). When I click on a notification though (from my phone), a windows opens that says "loading" but it never loads. You cannot underline capitalize or italicize anything in a post. Sometimes you just wanna call something out and not having that functionality is just ridiculous. Not being able to replied directly back to your team so they get notified when you answer the question they’ve asked is also not helpful. We’re relying on kids to come back to the app to see if I answered that may or may not happen. This app could be amazing, but the functionality is just not there. Unfortunately, I’m forced to use it because the school wants to. ### 3/5 — no ability to sync with personal calendar *2026-05-31, version 4.5.1* app is fine except that i don’t see a way to automatically sync with my google calendar and i do not enjoy having to put each event in manually. seems crazy in this age where syncing is the norm. even the pro version does not appear to have this. only reason i am using this is because my school requires it. You can’t change them either. Other than that, this app is just another average sports team app like a dozen others I use across leagues and sports. ### 1/5 — Won’t let me create account *2026-08-20, version 4.8.0* When I tried to use a code for school the thing kept saying invalid and such, when I said I had no code and tried with phone number it said bad URL. ### 1/5 — Good, but why charge! *2026-08-09, version 4.7.0* This is a good app for team communication. But it’s no different than GroupMe or any other group messaging app. So my issue is WHY CHARGE just to use Dark mode when that’s an iOS feature already! I even reset for both but still unable to login so this is frustrating as a parent that uses this app for their daughter sports team and now I’m unable to log back in to see anything. ### 1/5 — Don’t go for Red Cross swimming class *2026-07-09, version 4.6.1* Red Cross swimming classes will be canceled without any concrete reason. They will not refund your money. No class reschedule. Hopeless management. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2026-06-25, version 4.6.1* My school uses SportsU for our sports activities and it’s always glitching half the time you can’t even log in because it signs you out and you CONSTANTLY have to delete and redownload to get it to work, but some people with parental controls because the app is used for schools doesn’t let you delete. Now you stuck without being able to see your team messages and can’t contact any coaches because it illegal. Very disappointed with the app and the amount of bugs because that’s not all of them that’s just the main one. ### 1/5 — Sports you *2026-06-09, version 4.6.0* I’ve had this app for more then 3 years..today however it signed me out and the password ive had for years and haven’t changed doesn’t work and my phone number isn’t working saying it’s invalid..
