This is exactly what I needed. Flying a powdered paraglider I like to know surface level wind speed and winds aloft. This app is simple to look at and understand. Knowing the cloud deck height with forested models is great too if you want to fly above them. The graph is very simplistic which is a good thing. Only the necessary data is shown so there’s no clutter. I wouldn’t change anything about this. You don’t even have to choose a location. You just move the part of the map into view and the data is automatically pulled for that area. 

I searched a long time looking at weather, wind and aviation apps and none of them provided a simple all in one solution for the data this app provides.

Know how to calculate freefall and canopy drift. Once you do, you can easily use this to visually confirm your calculated exit point with a tolerance added to accommodate multiple jumpers and the associated jump run. Upper winds readily available in the app to help you with your spot calculations, cloud altitudes so you know if you'll be able to at least do some hop and pops if the cloud layer is too thick for a full altitude jump, but high enough to jump below it. You can input canopy type, opening altitude etc. to increase accuracy. You can adjust your landing direction and pattern leg entry points based on the actual ground conditions. Best app for skydiving. Spend the few dollars and max the features out... best <$10 you'll spend to make sure you don't land off. Everything in skydiving is expensive... this isn't. Great work.

Не совсем понятно, зачем нужны красная и синяя зоны, а вот построение захода реализовано отлично. 
Есть ветер по высотам - это очень крутая фича, особенно для винга.

This is the best app for skydiving. You are missing out if you don't have this app on your iPhone or iPad!  The developer is a skydiver and is very responsive to feedback. Download this one...you won't regret it!

When I try to buy extra features to make the app more useful I get an error connecting to the iTunes Store despite also having the iTunes Store open.
When I click the ‘e-mail us’ button to report issues it tries to open the default mail client, which I don’t use. Why not show you email address?
Without the exit area and weather feature this app is useless.

It crashes all the time as i try to change open by i push there and its freezes... Same stuff then i push to change canopy type... I payd for it so fix it!

I find it inaccurate in real time. I paid for the landing pattern and most of its wind direction is inaccurate in real time. Looking at the wind socks at my DZ the wind is from NNE yet in the app it indicates SE. Waste of money.

I have not purchased any extras but I'm a little disappointed - it seems to be not much more than a glorified map that marks known global DZs, then overlays weather and shows approach pattern based on wind speed. 
Yes, it's nice to see satellite imagery for a DZ I may visit, but I can do that on any map App b
But there are so many missed opportunities (or features that I just couldn't find so are not intuitive at all!) 
No links to all those DZ websites. 
Canopy selection - I can add custom which is nice, but I could not find a way to edit or delete canopies, and you can't tell which is selected (I ended up with 3x "my canopy" with incorrect stats while trying to figure it out, now I seem stuck with them!). 
Set exit altitude?
Set canopy deployment altitude?
Being able to adjust the DZ's target pad is nice (students v experienced may differ, etc), but there is no way to set it back to the default if you move it accidentally. 
OK - that was just a quick review based on first findings. I will update if things change/improve.

**Developer response:** Hey FluffyRAM. The extras you haven't purchase make this app much more than a "glorified map that marks known global DZs". Give it a try, please. Most of your proposed "missed opportunities" are implemented as an extra - buy it.

Not sure what happened but the app used to be great.  Now they have changed background colors and lettering to white on top of each other so you can barely read anything in the weather section.

Also the patter direction stopped working…so you can’t pick a left or right landing direction.

Another issue is that the app will not keep your home DZ….randomly the app will think it is somewhere else and when you switch between winds aloft and forecast, I have had it literally switch DZs.

I paid for the full version to include everything as well and now they are adding things that need to be paid for…not right to do to existing customers that already purchased the full version.

**Developer response:** Most of the issues you mentioned are fixed, but please contact me if you still have any problems - I make my best to fix things. As for additional payments - you still get features you paid for - forever. Its just app added more features to become even better.

The App is missing a module to calculate the exit spot. Once the jump altitude is plugged in, the exit spot can easily calculated given the current winds. Further, the user will have to make adjustments to a landing pattern if the software determines that the best pattern will take the skydiver over an active runway below 1,000' AGL. Just a few more additions and this will be an outstanding application for skydivers. And if the extra modules cost a little bit more money, I'd be willing to pay for it.

this to me is by far the best forecast app, i jump in different dz in a few countries, and it works every time every where. Aand, if you have questions they help you solve them, just hit them an email, congratulations and thank you.

The cutaway finder worked perfectly in helping locating my parachute.  Simple as entering the cutaway location, altitude and date time.  It shows the path based on the winds at that time.  My parachute was within a couple hundred feet with the last arrow.

Маст хэв. Купил давно. Все выполнено отлично, особо радуют ветра по высотам, для вингов так вообще не заменимо, отцепки искать тоже удобно. Если на каких -то спотах погрешности, так это из-за недостаточно метеоданных на конкретном месте, тут приложение не причем.

Buy all the features, they’re worth it. It just helps to visualize everything you’re gonna be using while jumping. Lots of great add ons you don’t get unless you purchase. Blue skies y’all!

Like any “application “, take the info with a grain of salt and a generous dose of common sense.  I’m still in training, but one of my mentors turned me on to this and I find myself checking it all the time.  I’ve worked outdoors all my life and this gives a greater picture of weather and conditions than normal radar. The daily info I received from this program combined with my lifetime knowledge gives me a much better understanding of weather patterns in our area and makes this a very valuable tool.

This app helps to find 
a) the best exit spot
b) the best landing pattern for an accurate on point landing either at the dropzone or at any chosen place (for demo jumps).
I use it for my own jumps as well as for the briefing of students. 
The developer is constantly working on improvements and you get support if needed. 
Use the free trial of all functions and you'll be convinced to pay the small amount for the functions you need. 
Also great for dropzones, to show real time conditions to their jumpers!
