## What is Spot?

Point your camera at anything. Spot pulls the colors out.

A flower, a tiled wall, a paperback cover, the light on a building at six in the evening. If you can see it, you can keep it.

TWO WAYS TO SPOT

Drag a frame around anything in the viewfinder. Spot reads the whole region and returns a palette, ranked by how much of the area each color actually covers.

Or reach for the loupe, a magnifier that lands you on one exact pixel, with a dial for the fine adjustment your thumb can't manage on its own.

EVERY VALUE, ONE TAP AWAY

Each color opens to hex, RGB, HSL, and OKLCH. Tap any value to copy it.

Contrast ratios against white and black, graded pass or fail, so you know whether a color survives as type before you commit to it.

Tints and shades derived from the color, ready to copy too.

And a plain-language note on what the color is: where it sits, how it behaves, whether it works as a surface or as text.

NAMES, NOT NUMBERS

Spot names what it finds. Iris. Mint. Flamingo. Honey. Periwinkle. Easier to remember than #8E82FF, and easier to say out loud.

KEEP THEM, SHARE THEM

Save palettes to Spotted, your library. Rename them to whatever the moment was. Heart individual colors to keep them apart from the palette they arrived in.

Share a palette as a card, swatches fanned out and hex values printed, straight into Messages or saved to your photo library.

EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE

No account. No sign-in. No network code at all. Nothing you capture is uploaded, because there is nowhere for it to go. Your palettes live in the app, on your device.

For designers, illustrators, painters, and anyone who has ever stopped on a walk because the color of a door was exactly right.
