## What is SpotFunds?

Your bank tells you how much money you have. It doesn't tell you how to make your money last between paydays.

SpotFunds is built for that. Always with you. Knows you. Speaks before you spend.

It's a spending coach, not a budget tracker. It learns how you spend, builds a pace that's personal to you, and speaks up before you spend. So when it's a day to ease off, you'll know before you leave the house. And when it's a day to go have fun, you'll know exactly how much fun you can afford.

Think of a pace like a budget that moves with you. Instead of one fixed number you're trying not to break, SpotFunds tells you what's actually safe to spend right now. That's your Ready-to-Spend® amount, and it exists so you make it to payday with room to breathe.

You log what you buy. This keeps you aware of your spending, and it's how the coach learns from you so it can help before you spend instead of just giving you a report after the money's already gone.

Your pace on your Home Screen — and on your Mac desktop, nothing to install. One glance, no math. On the way out the door, just ask: "Hey Siri, ask SpotFunds if I can do happy hour Friday." Tell it to log a coffee without opening the app. And pull down on your Home Screen, type "coffee," and your paces, spots, and purchases are right there in Spotlight. Amounts are never indexed.

Private by design. SpotFunds learns on your iPhone, so nothing about you is collected. When you ask the coach a question on the latest iPhone software, it can use Apple's private cloud for a moment to work out the answer: only your question and the few facts needed to answer it are sent, nothing is stored — not by us, and not by Apple — and your location data is never sent.

I've used SpotFunds to track a lot of the on-the-go miscellaneous expenses for my small business (parking, business lunches, coffee shops, etc). I love how quick and simple it is. NO setup--you can just start tracking right away. And the smart locational prompts are awesome. Well worth it!!
