## What is SpotNav?

SpotNav saves your fishing spots and takes you straight back to them. With a logbook, weather and stats for everything that happens after the bite.

SAVE YOUR SPOTS
• Mark a spot with GPS and camera: point the rod at the spot, enter the distance in metres or wraps, save
• Or drop it on the map with a long press
• Photos, water, depth, bottom, features and notes for every spot

FIND THEM AGAIN
• AR finder: your spots appear in the camera view with distance and direction
• Navigate by camera or compass, with a big distance readout, a green bar and a buzz once the spot is within casting range
• Satellite map with spot names, a ruler and directions to the car park

LOGBOOK
• Log a catch in seconds: photos, species, weight. Spot, time, session and weather are added for you
• Sessions with start and end, blanks count too
• Baiting log: what, how much and on which spot
• Weather at the bite from the German Weather Service (DWD): pressure with trend, wind, temperature, moon phase
• Photo galleries for spots, catches and sessions

SHARE
• Share spots by link: anyone with SpotNav adds them to their app with one tap
• Show off catches and whole sessions: as a link to view on spotnav.app, or as a ready-made graphic for Instagram, post or story, saved straight to Photos
• Encrypted: the key is in the link, the server never sees it. Positions are only included in spot links

NO ACCOUNT
• No sign-up, none of your data stored in plain text in the cloud
• Backup to iCloud, encrypted with a key from your keychain

PREMIUM
• Unlimited spots, stats, export (GPX, KML, CSV), iCloud backup, no ads
• Yearly subscription or one-off lifetime purchase, 14 days free
• Basic is free: 10 spots, unlimited catches, with ads

Made for carp anglers who don't leave their swims to chance.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 5.3.0 — 2026-10-26

Your logbook is here, and SpotNav now speaks English.

• Logbook: log a catch in seconds (photos, species, weight); spot, time and weather are added for you
• Sessions with start and end, blanks count too
• Baiting log: what, how much and on which spot
• Weather at the bite: pressure with trend, wind, temperature, moon phase
• Photo galleries for spots, catches and sessions
• Share by link, encrypted and without an account: spots to add to your app, catches and sessions to view
• Catch and session graphics for Instagram (post or story), saved straight to Photos

• iCloud backup and export (Premium)
• English and Dutch, choose the language under More

### 5.2.0 — 2026-10-25

Spots schneller erfassen, leichter wiederfinden:
