I wouldn’t mind paying to remove them but it’s not clear how and it looks like you have to keep paying to keep the ads away. However, the skill ceiling is incredibly high and driving feels fun and competitive. Car customization is absolutely incredible. My only critique is that the same cars with higher base stats dominate most categories, so many of your cars are only viable for brand specific races or quick races, while the meta cars become the only ones you use if you want to be at the top of the timing board **Developer response:** Hi DictatorLee. I have 2 suggestions for a future update. 1 the handling with the vehicles in monster truck mode badly needs to be fixed, It’s so bad that any track you have to do that on makes it super annoying even when you have a car that the handling is almost maxed out because of the tires going all crazy all the time. The second suggestion would be to have a way to trade in or break down Customization parts that you don’t like or use for like tools or make an amount system after so many parts broken down you can get better quality customization parts. Have different tier parts be worth a different amount when broken down so it gives everyone a chance to get sweet looking stuff for their cars. We are aware of the Monstuertruck issue, but it requires a bigger change to our system to make the handling better so we ask you to please be patient🙏🚗🚙💨 ### 4/5 — Very addictive. *2024-07-09, version 1.29.2* The concept is great a few downfalls are that when you complete the 4 races, that’s it you can’t do anything else for sometimes 20mins to an hour so it’s not a game you can sit playing for hours at all. Also when you upgrade your car past level 8 it’s so expensive to upgrade any further and that goes for every type of car and there’s no way of making loads of coins (nuts) very quick at all. Food for thought guys hope you can think of a way around these bad points so we can play for longer durations. SpotRacers has huge charm with fun beautifully designed tracks and really cool but cute car models. The devs clearly love their cars and it shows However Balance issues still exist. Yes it’s true you can by a low level car and tune it up to be a monster but the path is long… or you can just pay - nothing wrong with that Or you can take the middle option spot a super car IRL (I’ve not done it but you can also totally cheat this by spotting a car on tv or your pc screen) and you’ll have yourself a winning car after a few additional upgrades But that’s not really my complaint. Two years on and some of the issues I outlined in my original review still stand. With a tune hyper car you just don’t need to bother. I ran a few off road and monster races recently and fought hard in my tuned up 4x4 only to be destroyed by - bunch of Veyron owners… ok so I guess you could argue a veyron shaped Monster Truck checks out… but an off road circuit in a stock Veyron?? Pretty much any race that isn’t limited to car category or car type is going to be one by tuned super cars no matter how technical the circuit. Nothing against these cars I have a Lamborghini and Porsche in game myself it’s just time to limit their usage My Original Review: Beautiful looking game with a great driving mechanic and premise. Sadly let down by unbalanced opponents. Race after race it’s the same thing: I’m pitted against players in 350kph “Diablo”s who only need to go flat out the whole way round the track to bag the win because for them crashing simply doesn’t matter, there is no need for them to learn how to take a corner because their acceleration and top speed will win them the game. ### 4/5 — Fun Game, Idea *2024-02-29, version 1.26.2* The game is excellent, I have so much fun playing it. Where folks drive is none of their business and they certainly shouldn’t be profiting from players passing them info on complete strangers without permission from the owner of the vehicle. ### 1/5 — App is Pretty Sketchy *2021-09-02, version 1.10.4* I went to take a picture of my car to “get it in the game” and it wouldn’t work because it couldn’t see my license plate. Well I don’t have a front license plate since they aren’t required where I live, so I guess I just can’t get “my car in the game.” Then I thought about it, and it’s very sketchy that this app encourages people to go out and not only take pictures of other peoples’ cars, but specifically their license plates.
