The application contains a local demo video and a connection to Mirasys demo server. In order to use Spotter as a part of your own surveillance setup, you need Mirasys video recording software for your server. Have used thos app for three years now. But I cant any more, because of iOS11. The Developer needs to update, and be quick. Otherwise I will have to find new way to connect to the  cctv.
